CYCI 129 Stay Wild w/ PanPastels and Deb Valder

CYCI 129 Hidy Ho Stampers,

What a gorgeous day here in Upstate New York.  The sun is shining, the breeze is blowing and the sunsets this summer have been out of this world.  So with the challenge this week being pink and blue, it made me think of the beautiful skies we’ve been having here at night.  What do you think?

This is a PanPastel landscape!  You can do it!

This week’s challenge for Can You Case It – CYCI #129 is a color challenge.  The colors you need to use are Pinks, Dark Blues and Neutrals.  I think I nailed this one using the Fun Stampers Journey Pan Pastels.  It is super simple and super fast!  I will show you a video this week but am getting ready for my THIRD AND FINAL STAMP SALE on Saturday, July, 16th.  So stay tuned.  These PanPastels will make even the non-artist look like an artist!

Here are the ingredients:

Stamp Set:  AT-0207 Stay Wild

Card Stock:  Denim Days; Black Licorice

Ink:  Black Licorice

Accessories:  JUST THE PANPASTELS!  JM-0080 Mother Nature (I used the Denim Days from that group); JM-0082 Rich Sorbets (I used the Sweet Berry from that group); JM-0081 Party Pop (I used the Black Licorice, Whip Cream and Lemon Drop from that group); and JM-0079 Confectionary Days (I used the Bubble Gum nad Cool Play from that group).

This technique is so easy and so fast!  I DO use pump bottle hairspray to seal the Pastels after I’m done.

If  you have any questions, please let me know. Hop on over to the blog www.canyoucaseit.com and submit your entry this week.  It’s a blast!  Make sure you use Pinks, Dark Blues andNeutrals for the colors in your card.  It can be done with any medium!  Then email me and tell me you did it.  Doing challenges is a lot of fun because you are not starting from scratch, you are actually being directed where to start!  Have fun.

The blending in that background is amazing. I like how the main image is smaller and tucked to one side… nice design. Rose. 🙂
