Colors I used: Y02, Y35, R27, R59, BG78, C3, C5, YG63, YG67, 110 and 0
Distress Oxide Inks – colors I used Tumbled Glass and Broken China
I started this card by stamping the Cardinal Pair using the StampWheel and Black Hybrid Ink. Stamp it again on piece of scrap typing paper and cut out the tree trunk. Using the EZ Grand Tape Dispenser and the Repositionable Dots Refill Tape , put some of this tape onto the cutout tree trunk and add that to the card over the trunk that is already there (this is your mask so you can stamp over it). Now stamp the Music Background using Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass and Broken China).
Now it’s time to color with our Copic Markers. Make sure you watch the video to show you just how easy it is to color these beauties. Don’t forget to use the Black Micron Pen for the hairs on the top of their heads :0)! I also colored the Christmas bulbs with Copic Markers. I finished up the bulbs with our Metallic Gel Pens and some Crystal Glaze. I cut the Believe Edger out of Gold Mirror Paper and the shadow piece is out of white cardstock. Adhere them to the card using the Precision Glue Press. Add the Believe Builder sentiment.
Now we are going to make that FUN snow using our Soft Bristled Toothbrush. Fill your Paw Palette or Flower Palette using our Palette Knife with Luma Bleed-Proof White. You only need a dollop (check out the video to see the amount). If you need to add a little water use your Silicone Dispenser (DO NOT add too much or it will be a “wash” type ink and we don’t want that. We want it a little thick.) If you get the Luma where you don’t want it, use your #4 Watercolor Brush and a little water as an eraser for this.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
