Burnished Panel Technique with Deb Valder

All Posts

15 Aug

Hidy Ho Stampers,

Current Hostess Code:  DRPB7RP3

I’ve been so busy creating projects for you from our NEW Holiday Mini Catalog (I can’t wait to share) that I’ve been neglecting my blog.  Sorry about that…but TODAY’s card is a WINNER!!!!  and so is Izzy!

Izzy at gymnastics graduation!

She is soooooooo cute!

Today’s card is called the Burnished Panel Technique.  I just love to burnish and this card lends itself to that technique so well.  I then turned it into a panel card. This card is part of my AUGUST STAMP CLASS OF THE MONTH!  Loooooove it!

The colors came out so soft!

Added the raised sentiment and all is good!

So here is how I did it!  If you are viewing this in your email, click on the video picture and it will take you to my blog where you can see the video and get the measurements.

Pretty cool huh?

Card Dimensions:

Card base:  4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″

Basic Black layer:  4″ x 5 1/4″

Whisper White Layer:  3 3/4″ x 5″

Panels:

Cut (3) Basic Black Panels:  1 3/8″ x 3 3/8″

FIRST STAMP ON a piece of Whisper White at 3 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ then cut…

Cut into (3) strips that are 1 1/4″ each

*Note – the only thing that is popped is the sentiment.

Here are the supplies used:

If you like my work, please share it with your friends!  I so appreciate it!  You guys are the best.  Have a great day.
