Building a Panel Card Featuring NEW Product with Deb Valder

All Posts

Hidy Ho Stampers,

People are always asking how it feels to be a grandparent (Nana and Papa) now that we have Isabella.  My answer is simple…to have children is one of God's greatest gifts but to watch your children grow and start a family of their own is beyond belief.  We had the BEST trip to South Dakota to visit for her first birthday!

Izzy and Josh

Josh and Isabella (aka Izzy) one year old

Izzy and Moose

Her BEST friend – Moose

Izzy

Do you believe she is one year old!

she is so precious!

Okay thank you for listening to me brag about my little peanut!  Now on to today's card.  I'm so excited to get all the NEW product from the 2014-2015 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog.  So today I featured the embossing folders…what do you think?

This is called a Panel Card and it features all four of our new folders.  So let me show you how I did it…

Panel Cards are fast and easy (and you know me, I'm all about fast). You can use stamped images, you can use Designer Series Paper or just use up your scraps of paper.  Try it, you will fall in love with this technique and for those of you that love to showcase our product, you are going to LOVE these embossing folders.

Supplies:

Stamp Set:  And Many More #134273 wood or #134276 clear mount

Cardstock:  Blackberry Bliss (my new favorite color this week) and Whisper White

Ink:  Blackberry Bliss

Accessories:

Embossing folders:

#13373 Lovely Lace

#133739 Large Polka Dot

#133740 Tiny Triangles

#133738 Zig Zag

#134559  1/4" Cotton Ribbon Daffodil Delight; #133787 Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack; #135707 Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits; #133630 2014-2016 In Color Clothespins;  #130934 Neutrals Candy Dots

Measurements:

Card Base:  4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2"

**Panel Base:  4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Panels 1 3/8" x 4 1/4

**I use a base piece to adhere my panels – I like to use a piece that is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" so I can cut it down after adhering the panels. You can cut it down to as small as you need – I cut it down to 4" x 5 1/4"

Deb your granddaughter (or grand sugar as I refer to mine) is really really adorable. Not just saying that – but she looks like Miss Personality and totally loved. Enjoy her which I know you are. Love your work too. Thanks for all that you do.
