Build a Bagalope using an Envelope – Valentine Style with Deb Valder

All Posts

27 Jan

Hidy Ho Stampers,

Did you know you can build a bag out of an envelope?  Well you can.  When I first started stamping about 15 years ago, this is one of the first things I learned to do.  I was taking any size envelope I could get my hands on and turning it into a bag.  Do you remember doing them?  It's a blast from the past.

For these, I used some product from Stampin' Up! that will be retiring TODAY, January 27th, 2014.  If you wanted to purchase any of these, make sure you get on my website www.stampladee.stampinup.net and get them right away before they are gone.  One of the stamp sets is already sold out of the clear mount but you can still get it in wood mount.  Here is what they look like…

Aren't they cute!  And the size depends on your envelope and

how wide you make your creases.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and so much fun.

Watch my video for some great tips.  Click here if you are getting this post in your email.

TODAY is the last day for these items!  Get them now at www.stampladee.stampinup.net

Oh Carol, just a warning, once you start these envelopes, you will NOT want to stop.  There will not be an envelope around that doesn’t fall to a “bagalope”!  You can use large mailing envelopes down to the tinest one you can find.  It’s soooooooo much fun and becomes a challenge to see what sizes you can make from different sized envelopes!  Too much fun.

This was one of the first things that I learned to do, too! Everything old can become new again. 🙂
