Birthday Boy and His Frogs

July 9, 2022. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you the cutest little birthday boy. It’s actually for my older brother. I am so close to him and this just reminded me of him when we were younger. He was always bringing critters home! I love him to the moon and back! I know he will love my card. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today….
Hybrid Ink Pads – I used Black and Navy
I used the Wonky Window 1 Die (we have four different standard wonky window dies and one wonky window SLIMLINE die in the shop). They are so much fun to highlight images and sentiments. In this sample I cut the frame out of Navy then cut it again out of white. I always save the cutouts for other cards like I did for the card below. To attach this frame to the card base I used our Black 3D Foam Strips to give the frame dimension. Then I used our Deluxe Adhesive to add the window. If you look at his little suspenders, the clasp was done with our Golden Ochre glitter marker from the Ember Glow Glitter Marker Set. Another little detail added was the dots on the package. I used my White Gel Pen to get those adorable little dots.

I used the Hugs Daily Script for the upper frame. I cut one navy “shadow” and three “hugs” out of white then layered them with our Deluxe Adhesive. For the frames on the right, I used our Echo Park 6 x 6 Paper Pack. As stated above, I saved all the cutouts that I didn’t use for another project down the road (always working smarter not harder)! I decided to add some of our NEW Christmas Fairy Jewels. I picked several “like” colors that matched the colors in the art work. He is colored with our Copic Markers.
