Hidy Ho and BOO Stampers,

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween (did I tell you how much I love Halloween?)!   I don't like the blood, guts and gore, I just love the cute stuff.  I always made my children's Halloween Costumes and it was so much fun.

Here they are when we lived in Penn Yan, New York.

Jonathan aka Humpty Dumpty is now Vice President of J. F. Valder & Son, Inc.

Katie aka Mary Had a Little Lamb is now a Lawyer

and Josh aka the Scarecrow now has his PhD as a Geological Engineer

who said the Scarecrow had no brains??!!!

It's all so much fun!

So today's post is all about the FUN of Halloween!  Isn't this card so cute!!!!

Best of Halloween

I used the new Best of Halloween and Halloween Bash Stamp Sets.

Best of Halloween 2

Here's a close up.  Lots of detail and fun accessories!

Supplies:

Stamp Sets: # 134381 Best of Halloween  and Halloween Bash (#130577 wood mount or #130580 clear mount)

Ink:  Black Stazon, Versa Mark

Card Stock:  Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Modern Medley Designer Series Paper

Accessories:  NEW #132206 Black & Orange Glitter, Heat and Stick Powder, Dress Up Framelits, Rhinestones, Ticket Duo Builder Punch, Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder

DIRECTIONS:

Card base is 4 1/4" x 11; Basic Black layer is 4" x 5 1/4" and the Modern Medley piece is 2" x 4".

Just above and below the Modern Medley piece run the Needlepoint Embossing Folder.    With the Big Shot, cut out a dress form from any scrap piece of paper.  Cover the dress form with Versa Mark and Heat and Stick powder then the Orange Glitter (see video below on how to use the Heat and Stick Powder).  Next stamp the hat from the Best of Halloween stamp set with Versa Mark, add your Heat and Stick Powder then add your black glitter and re-heat.  Cut out and add a strip of Mulitpurpose Tombow Glue to the hat and adhere the orange glitter (for the band).  I also added an orange feather and a rhinestone that was painted with a black Sharpie Marker.  Stamp the words from the Halloween Bash stamp set and punch out with the Ticket Duo Builder Punch.  Pop that onto your card and you are DONE!  The card is so much more sparkly in person than it is in the pictures…So much fun!

Do you know how to use Heat and Stick Powder?  If not check out the quick video below…it's easy to use (if you are viewing this blog post in your email, you will need to click here to view the video on my YouTube Channel.
