Hidy Ho Stampers,
Got up, went to church, came home, loaded the car and headed to my Team Holiday party. I know most of you are picture followers so I'm going to show you some of the most amazing gifts that were exchanged at the party. In order to participate in the gift exchange, they had to make a handstamped item using Stampin' Up! product. This group of stampers are soooooooooo talented. Don't take my word for it, I'll show you!
First we collected food for the troops. My very dear friend is deployed for the third time. So we collected items for his group (is it called a "group"?)
Items for the troops.
We also collected food for the Local Food Pantry
I showed them all the new product from the new Occasions Mini
THEN….we had our gift exchange. Here are only a few of the items that were exchanged…
This is the wreath I made from the Festive Flurry Kit.
In order to receive one of these gifts, the demo had to make a Stampin' Up! homemade gift, put it in a brown paper bag and put it under the tree when they arrived. Then they were given a bag of m & m's. The colors of the m & m's were each given a $ amount (example…the brown ones were worth $1,000,etc). Then we held an auction. They had to bid on the gifts depending on how much they had to spend (from their m & m's). I also had a "Santa" bag that was filled with new product where they got to bid on that bag of goodies also.
I had three helpers (Santa, Rudolf and they Elf).
They didn't always play nice!
When someone won the bid, they had to spin the Prize Wheel and whatever name came up (Santa, Rudolf or Elf) would determine WHO picked their gift from Santa's Bag. It was a lot of fun
Oh and the FOOD!!!! mmmmmmm
closeup of the trees, they had Raspberries on them mmmmmmmmm
We had a "3D" swap.
here are 7 of the 24 swaps, these too were amazing.
Then they completed 6 make and takes that were created by me. I will be showing you those in the upcoming days. So stay tuned.
I feel so blessed to have the best team of demonstrators. I just can't say that enough. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to read my blog. I hope you enjoyed it. If you'd like to be a part of this, contact me.
Wow, what a wonderful group of demos, and how fabulous your contributions to both groups are! You were incredibly well organized and can hear all of the fun from the pictures…TFS!
It looks like your team has lots of fun. Thanks for sharing.
Oh Carol it was so much fun. We always have fun. They are a very talented and generous group, I love them to pieces.
Yes they do JoAnn. They are such a talented and generous group of people! Thank you for your lovely comment.
Looks like a group of creative ladies. Wish I lived in New York now!
:0) Thank you Cheryl. If I can ever be of service, let me know. We do have a great group of men and women that belong to this fun group from all over the US! Thank you for stopping by.
