This is a lovely project Deb. thank you for showing me something else I can do with my Envelope Punch. I have been so busy I have not even taken mine out of the box as yet.

Hi Deb, Thanks for a great VDO….however I am sl stumped. I followed ur instructions to a “T”….but when I go to assemble the box…..2 of my sides (opposing) are 1/2′ wide and the other 2 are 5/8” wide….and therefore when I go to put the box together it is not square…….you also say that ur “inside sq when scored measures 3 1/8” sq…mine is just sl larger….can you perhaps suggest what I may be doing wrong???? I have used so much CS it isn’t funny. I so love this idea and would love to pull it off!!!
    Thanks – Lynda

Hi Deb, No matter how many times I looked and followed the VDO (even step by stpe with CS and punch board beside me)….I still came out with uneven siding….so I made a minor adjustment and came up perfectly, still with the original CS dimension you started with and 5/8″ sides all round. I completed my very first set today. ooxx

Hello Deb, saw your tutorial on you tube, and want to ask how big the box must be to also fit the envelops.

Congratulations Lynda, but what adjustment did you  have to make?

Hi Gerjon, that box DOES fit the envelopes for the 3 x 3 cards.  It all works, I have 4 cards in there and 4 envelopes and you have room for more in there.  Let me know if you have any other questions..

I ended up lining up the edge of the CS to the 3 1/2 inch line and punch/score 1st time thru (as opposed to lining up the score line with the marker and then punch/score) and then to make the inner box I lined it up with the 2 5/8 and scored……no punch. Worked very well…..all sides measured 5/8″ (not the discrepancy(cies) I had multiple times thru) and fitted 4 layered 3 x 3s and the envelopes. ooxx
