Hidy Ho Stampers,
It's a day to reflect for me. Today, August 22nd, 2013, is five years after I had my cancer surgery. I hit my five year mark today! I was very lucky. Anyone that has had cancer, knows how important this day is! I have lost several friends to breast cancer over these last five years and I always ask why? God bless you friends! I said it was a time to reflect, here is a card I made at my one year mark…
Wow…5 years.
This was acutally my very first post for my blog.
I did do a card for today. I love the colors and I used my new Envelope Punch Board to make the envelope. I love 3 x 6 cards but since we stopped carrying the envelopes I had to stop making them. But now I can make any size card because I can make any size envelope! :0)
Card with Envelope
Inside (see the cutest pom pom on top I made it with our Baker's Twine)
Close up! Just too cute!
And don't forget if you place a $35 or more order from MY website www.stampladee.stampinup.net between now and August 31st, I will enter your name in a drawing for the NEW ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD. You NEEEEEED to use Hostess Code VKWDG6BA. If you do not use that code, your order cannot be entered into the drawing. If you have any questions when you are putting your order in, just email or give me a call and I will walk you through it.
Thank you for stopping by!o

Deb that is awesome. I too know how lucky I sometimes feel to be alive. Almost 19 months ago I had a brain tumor removed. I was scared to death other than knew God would help me through it if I gave it to him. I was elated to be told it was most likely benign and very happy when that was confirmed.
Deb says
“Oh my goodness Linda, I’m so happy for you. It’s a scary thing. I’m glad it all worked out, thank you for stopping by.”
Maria says
I’m so happy for you on your 5 year anniversary. I was diagnosed on May 2011 with breast and kidney cancer and I hope to get to my 5 year anniversary too.
Deb says
Oh Maria, keep fighting!!! It’s not always easy but I do believe attitude is a BIG part of it! So keep your chin up and do everything they tell you! Please stay in touch and let me know how you make out. I’m praying for you.
