The Syracuse Regional event was cancelled but here are some of the things that I had prepared for the event that I wanted to share with you…
These are name tags I made for the Jammie Party. I'm trying to think of something to do with all of them, they are personalized. I will figure something out but for now they are stuck in a bag. They are done with the Flower Folds Big Shot die and a few our our round punches. The names were printed out on my computer, it's a great wow factor when you are trying to jazz up an event.
Gifts for my downline and jammie party guests were loaded and ready to go. I made 70 of them and are loaded with product…I'm going to use these for Stamp Camp, hope you can make it to Stamp Camp, you will get lots and learn even more.
Food was loaded along with all my presentation materials and we were ready to go…
Okay so what was I thinking…here are some pictures of what it looked like the day we left Albany to go to the Syracuse Regional. It was so snowy and so deep and coming down so fast that even Kevin got his truck stuck in our driveway. Now just know, he is a good driver and a great snowplower, it's just that the snow was so big and heavy, it was hard to manage and VERY hard to drive in (or ride in in my case) What were we all thinking.
waaaaay too much snow waaaaay too fast! but we do live in the Northeast.
But we forged on!! So once we got there safe and sound, we settled into our room at the Syracuse Renaissance Hotel that was just beautiful. Great room. Then we decided to go to the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que famous Restaurant. How unique was that…here is their website… http://www.dinosaurbarbque.com/ It is so adorable. It's a biker bar/restaurant that is FAMOUS. When we got there, I received a call that the Regional for Friday was cancelled. But we were hoping for Saturday still.
Later that night we had a modified much smaller jammie party with the others that braved the elements (other crazy people) that drove all the way to Syracuse for the stamping event. Here are some pictures and samples of that event.
As everyone worked on make and takes, I was taking pictures. So this IS what they mean by making Lemonaide out of Lemons…everyone had such a great time despite the snow and wind storm outside and trying not to think about driving home in it the next day.
okay, here is an abandoned big shot machine…we used everything to stamp on! So much fun.
Here is one of the projects that we made that night…it's a beautiful frame with the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set. It's even more beautiful in person. These Jammie Party make and takes were over the top, everyone did a wonderful job. Thank you girls.
Tomorrow I will bring you some of the make and takes we did with the girls that were my guests for the Syracuse Regional that didn't get a chance to go. We did them here Saturday. So much fun.
Remember to sign up for STAMP CAMP…since we are only having a morning session, it will fill up quickly! The projects are great! Trust me!
