Hi stampers,
I've been having so much fun this week. In New York, most of the schools have this week off (it's called WINTER BREAK). So I try to have classes for them during the day. We did punchbook makeup class and today we did a 10/10/10 and tomorrow is my regular monthly punchbook class. So anyway, I was chatting with one of my friends, she attends punchbook class regularly. I told her that I had another gal looking for a punchart "crane" so she could do her son's birthday invitations. She said to me that she would help me look or create….well…..wait until you see what she did!!!!
Do you believe this???? It was done by Carolyn Berrian. She went home and found this picture on the internet and took our punches and duplicated it!!! OMGosh!!!! The one on the left is the internet picture and the one on the right is done with all our punches!!! What a fantastic job!!! Thank you Carolyn for sharing!
And today was my 10/10/10…I'm all set up and ready to go for the morning class.
and yes, I DO time them…they do 10 cards, each one of the cards will only take them 10 minutes or less and it's only $10.00 (and the morning class started at 10:00). Do you remember my earlier post? I did a 10/10/10 on 10/10/10 (that would be October 10th, 2010) at 10:00?! That was a blast!
And I just had to share with you!!! Yesterday, February 22nd, was my HALF way mark. It was 2 1/2 years since my cancer was removed!!!! YIPPEEE, I only have 2 1/2 years left before I hit my 5 year mark….to anyone that has had that horrible disease…you really do look forward each and every day to that five year mark. So…February 22nd was half way for me. It's like walking up a moutain and reaching the top (it's so hard to get there) and now…I'm RUNNING down the other side!!! YIPPPEEEE for me! My daughter came home with this beautiful bouquet of flowers and balloons!!!
Have a great day, I am!

CONGRATS ON YOUR 2-1/2 ANNIVERSARY!! My name is Debbie, also, and in May I will be 10 years cancer-free! Yippee! Each and every mammogram makes me a nervous wreck because as I once heard, "Cancer may leave your body, but it never leaves your mind." Do something to celebrate today! Your daughter is a sweetheart!
Love your blog — thank you for sharing your art and your talent!
