Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Wonky Stitched Rectangles Die Set
Colors I used are listed below.
Micron Archival Ink Fine Tip Black Pen
Cut a piece of white card stock using the Wonky Stitched Rectangles then stamp the Oddball Oz Scarecrow and Crow using our Hybrid Black Ink Pad and StampWheel.
Color with Copic Markers.
Markers I used:
Scarecrow –
Hat – C1, C3, C5, C7, C9
Skin – E50, E51, E53, E55, R30
Hair – E31, Y21
Eyes, Collar, Belt – C1, C3, C5
Shirt – G20, G21, G24,
Pants – E11, E13, E15, E18
Boots – W00, W1, W3, W5, W6
Bird – B97, N1, N2, N3, N5, N9
Nuts – E31, E33, E29
Leaves – E79 (base leaf), G28, G85, G94, BG78
I cut the base layer out of our new Nutmeg Forest 6 x 6 Paper Pad using our Wonky Stitched Rectangles Die Set. It’s a gorgeous set of 6 x 6 papers for the Fall. I adhered this to the card base using our EZ Grand Tape Dispenser. Next adhere the Scarecrow layer to the card base also using the EZ Grand Tape Dispenser.
Next cut out the Oak Leaves Contour (nuts and leaves) from white card stock and color with Copic Markers (colors I used are noted above). Adhere the leaves and branches with our Precision Glue Press. Adhere the nuts using Black Thin Foam Squares.
To finish it off the front of the card I added some Autumn Fairy Jewels.
Here’s the inside of the card. Do you decorate the inside of your cards? You really should. I continued with the papers and colors from the outside. It came out beautiful. Here’s how I got the color onto these two pieces.
Cut out the Happy Fall Moonlight Script from white card stock and using Copic Markers color the background piece blending the colors together.
Colors I used:
Y11, Y17, YR14, E15, YG63
Using the NEW Copic Texture Kit texture the the background. It’s awesome and a must have if you are a Copic Marker user.
Cut the upper piece of the Happy Fall Moonlight Script from the Nutmeg Forest 6 x 6 Paper Pad to bring it all together. Everything matches.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
I get asked all the time “How do you store your Copics?” This is the unit I used for mine….
