Double Double Toil and Trouble

September 13, 2024. Happy FRIDAY THE 13th!!!!! Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing some adorable fun. You KNOW how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cute parts of Halloween. I’ve always made my kids costumes and treats and loved doing that! So today’s card I hope won’t disappoint you.

Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
It’s adorable.
Colors I used:
Leaves: G24, G28, G99
Flowers: Y11, Y15, Y17, Y21
YR04, YR12, YR14, YR15, 0(Colorless Blender)
Colors I used: Villainous Potion, Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac
Let’s take our Wrapped Stitch Rectangles and cut it out of our Black Glossy Cardstock. Take the band from the Layered Witch Hat and the words Happy Halloween Posh Script and cut them out of the MIDDLE of this piece (keeping them towards the middle of the layer when cutting out). It will be covered up with our next layer so don’t worry that you have holes in your base. Adhere this to your white card base.
Cut the next smaller layer from the Wrapped Stitch Rectangles out of white card stock. Also cut out the two main pieces of the Layered Witch Hat from another piece of white card stock. Burnish color in with your Distress Oxide Inks and Blending Brushes. Adhere the Happy Halloween Posh Script to this layer using our Precision Glue Press. Put the two pieces of the hat together with the Precision Glue Press. Add the hat just above the Happy Halloween Posh Script using Regular Black Foam Squares.
Cut the flowers from the Floral Vase Pop Up Dies and greenery from the Layered Greenery Stems out of white cardstock and color them with Copic Sketch Markers.
Adhere them using Precision Glue Press and Thin Black Foam Squares . Nest the flowers and the greenery in, under and around the hat.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
