Eyes – C2, B21
Monster Body – V06, V12, V17
Spikes/Toenails – Y13
Pumpkin – YR04, YR18, R05, E15
Blending – 0 and Details 0 Micron 005
(I used Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch and Prize Ribbon)
Let’s start our card with one of our Mini Slimline Card Bases . This is such a fun sized card and takes the same postage as an A2 card. It’s fun to get in the mail because it’s different and people are just so curious!
How to create the background….
- Take your Distress Oxide Inks (I used Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch and Prize Ribbon) and burnish in your color using our Blending Brushes. The more you burnish the smoother it looks.
- To finish up the background, add some Luma Bleed-Proof White to your Paw Palette or Flower Palette and a little water from your Silicone Dispenser.
- Mix with your Palette Knife.
- Pick up some of the Luma with your Soft Bristled Toothbrush spraying it onto the background. Because you are using Distress Oxide Inks , the water/Luma mix will make it look so cool.
- I also added larger spots with my#6 Watercolor Brush. Instead of using just water but adding the Luma Bleed-Proof White with it, it gives it a white look! GORGEOUS!
Cut out the Mini Slim Tree House Die and the Mini Bats Die from black cardstock. Adhere them to the background using your Precision Glue Press . I added some Wink of Stella to the bats and fluff their wings to make it look like they are flying.
Pick one of the monsters and one of the sentiments from the new Monster Halloween Combo. Using the StampWheel and Hybrid Black Ink, stamp the images and color it using your Copic Markers then cut out with the matching dies. This set is so cute and as a bonus you get the dies to match. Pop him to your layer using Black Regular Foam Squares. Add some Crystal Glaze to the pumpkin for that glossy look.
Bright Fairy Jewels were the last embellishment I added.
Add your card to one of our Mini Slimline Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
