Back To School Looking Cool

July 21, 2025. Today Teaspoon of Fun is brining you some back to school inspiration. Whether you are going back as a teacher or a student; going to grade school or collage – it’s a fun set to create cards for your kiddos and teachers. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Colors I used:
Apple – R27, R39, V99, YG17, E74
Dragon Body – YG01, YG13, YG17, YG67, BG78
Dragon Belly & Spikes – YG01, YG13, YG17, YG67
Backpack – RV00, RV09, RV14, RV99, Y08
Eyes/Horns – C1, C3, C5
I started this card by stamping the dragon image from the Back to School Dragons stamp set. I used the STAMPWHEEL and our Black Hybrid Ink to get the image onto the card base. I colored the little guy with our Copic Markers.
I cut the Comic Burst A2 Die Set pieces apart using our Craft Die Metal Snippers. When you purchase dies that have multiples in the set they are usually adhered together. To cleanly get them apart, use our Craft Die Metal Snippers. They are PERFECT for the job.
In the Comic Burst A2 Die Set you get 3 dies – one frame die and two speech bubble dies. I cut the base frame out of Lemon Lime Sparkle Paper and the smallest bubble out of Ruby Slippers Sparkle Paper. Cut another of the smallest bubbles out of Marshmallow Card Stock and using your STAMPWHEEL and our Black Hybrid Ink, stamp the sentiment in the middle of the bubble. Glue these two (offset just a little) together with our Precision Glue Press.
To finish off this creation, I used our Regular White Foam Squares, Crafty White Foam Tape and 3D White Foam Strips to put it all together. Then add a few Bright Fairy Jewels to complete the speech bubble and a little Crystal Glaze to make that apple shine!
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
