So Thankful for Whimsical Gladiola

May 3, 2024. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you another new die we have in the shop. Whimsical Gladiola. I’m showing you the third in our series of Glorious Gladiolas today! I love this new suite we have in the shop. Make sure you check them all out. I will be showcasing all 5 of them and then the grand finale using all of them on one card! eeeeek!

Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Colors I used:
RV09, RV11, RV14, RV34
YG17, YG63, G99
Such a pretty card. The first thing I did was to stamp the sentiment from the So Thankful Stamp Set using our STAMPWHEEL and our Black Hybrid Ink. Make sure it will fit inside the honeycomb cutout.
Cut out and attach the Honeycomb Fancy Die card base using our White Foam Strips and White Crafty Foam Tape and centering it around the sentiment.
Let’s start putting the Whimsical Gladiola together. It’s so easy. We have FIVE NEW GLADIOLA DIES in the shop – they are all gorgeous. This one is #3.
Here is the third one in a series I will be showing you. I will do an entire floral garden at the end but I thought it was important to show you them one by one first – they are all beautiful in their own way! You can cut the pieces from colored cardstock but I like to cut them from white and color with our Copic Markers. For this card I used RV09, RV11, RV14 and RV34 on the flowers.
HOW DO YOU PUT IT TOGETHER…..
Here’s the order to put them together. It’s SOOOOOOO easy. Make sure you are using your Jewel Picker, Retractable Pick and Fine Tip Tweezers to help you adhere them to the flower base using our Precision Glue Press.
Base pieces (cut from colored card stock or white like I do and color with markers).
Next layers. I like to pop some of them up with our White Micro Foam Squares and Regular White Foam Squares.
Next set of layers.
“Voila!”
when you pop a piece here and there it makes it look so good.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
