Color I used: Antique Linen
We have so many new products in the shop today. One of our new dies is very unique. It’s called All In One Hexagon (but it’s really an octagon – I’m not sure why they named it All In One Hexagon ?!?!?) But it’s gorgeous.
It’s one plate that has so many functions. It has an octagon background with some beautiful detail on it, a frame that fits inside the octagon and then a solid octagon. The frames have a crisscross pattern. All of these pieces can be used together or separately. I cut them out in white and color with my Copic Markers.
To make this a kaleidoscope card I used different foam squares and strips to make the elevations work. On the background I used our White Foam Strips; on the octagon frame I used our Thin White Foam Squares and on the solid octagon piece I used the Precision Glue Press. By using the different adhesives you get your different depths on the card.
I used our BRAND NEW Scent of Spring stamp set and stamped it using our STAMPWHEEL and Hybrid Ink – I used Black. The flowers in this set are so pretty and unique. I colored them with our Copic Markers and finished them with a little Wink of Stella on the petals. For the background I burnished some Distress Oxide using our Blending Brushes. Just a little to make the flowers stand out.
I just love this Simple Dragonfly Contour Layers. It has two different sized dragonflies in the set and they are all layered giving the card some beautiful depth. I used Vellum Card Stock for the wings and White Iridescent Glitter Paper for the body. I added some Wink of Stella to the wings to make them glitter. You can see the shimmer on the wings and the flowers have the same glam!

To finish off the card I used our It’s About the Day stamp set. It’s Teaspoon Of Fun’s VERY first original set. Some of our favorite sayings all in one set. Then I added some Mini Pearls.
Finish off this beautiful card with one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes.
