The Luck of the Irish

Hidy Ho Stampers,

February 25, 2024.  Today’s card  from Teaspoon of Fun is all about the luck of the Irish.  It’s a shaker card.  How about sending your friends some Irish Cheer.

Check out our NEWEST products here:  TEASPOON OF FUN NEW AND SEASONAL.  Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today.

Head on over to Teaspoon of Fun for all your paper crafting needs and share this site with your friends!

The Luck of the Irish. All products can be purchased in our Teaspoon Of Fun Paper Crafting Shop at www.TeaspoonOfFun.com/SHOP.

I used the cutouts from the Slimline Shamrock Background Die for some of the shakers in the card as well as Ribbit Prills.  I also used the cutouts for a popup on the circle sentiment.

I added some Wink of Stella to the Shamrocks to make them sparkle and used the Stitched Nesting Circles to cut out the sentiments from St. Patrick’s Day Gold.

I used the Ribbit Prills and the Craft Spoon (the craft spoon is a must if using our Prills) to fill the shaker card along with the cutouts from the Slimline Shamrock Background Die.  To color the words, I used my Copic Markers – I striped the “happy” and the “day” with the Copics.

St. Patrick's Day Gold. All products can be purchased in our Teaspoon Of Fun Paper Crafting Shop at www.TeaspoonOfFun.com/SHOP

To make the shaker card, take your die cut top layer and add 1/8″ Double Sided Tape to the BACK of the outside border.  Now carefully lay down your Acetate Sheet.

Next you will add your White 3D Foam STRIPS over the acetate.  Make sure your foam strips are one complete rectangle and there are no splits in them (if there are any gaps, the prills will spill out)  See the picture above.  Then add all your shakers to the underneath layer keeping them free from the edges.

Shamrock Gold. All products can be found in our Teaspoon of Fun Shop at www.TeaspoonOfFun.com/SHOP

For this one my underneath layer was a 1/4″ larger than the Slimline Shamrock Background Die.  I then added this to one of my Slimline Card Bases.

To finish it up, I added my sentiments from the St. Patrick’s Day Gold set.  Make sure you pick up your Slimline Envelopes to finish up your Happy St. Patrick’s Day card!

Send a little Irish to your friends and family.

I buy most of my own supplies.  However, from time to time I do receive some free product to work with.  I only share what I love.  I do not do paid reviews.  Companies will sometimes send me products as a gift, not payment.  There are no expectations to use them.  If I like them, I will use them.
