Here is a red version of the same card with a Steel Blue embossed background. This embossing folder is so pretty using it on one side or turn it over and the other side is just as pretty. Which do you like better…the blue or the white?
You can indiviaually buy the glitter paper so you have 10 sheets of each color OR we have two different variety packs. If you want to give our glitter paper a try, I’d try our variety packs. For this card you can get the TOF Sparkle Paper Variety Pack or the Holiday Sparkle Paper Variety Pack. I also used the Frosted 6 x 6 Glitter Pad. The sentiment comes from one of our many mini sentiments sets called Touched by Peace Sentiment Set,
I cut the Curled Holly Branch out of our Green Apple Cardstock and I added the Red Berry Nuvo Drops for the berries.
The pine cone is part of the Gilded Sleigh Combo set. This is such and adorable die. Here’s how to use it…
There are two sizes of pine cones in this set. Cut a whole bunch of them out.
I add our Deluxe Adhesive (the best on the market) all at the same time but do NOT put it on the top piece and you will want to keep the glue closest to the edge of the cutout (I’ll explain why below). You will want to use your Jewel Picker to add the pinecones.
Starting at the top, add that one to the next one in line, then the next one and so on until you have a complete pinecone. When the pinecone is dry, “fluff” the edges backward so it has a 3D look. It’s so stinken cute!
What I do is cut out lots of each piece and store them in the coordinating envelopes. Then when I’m doing a project and need the piece, the work is already done. Also when you are embossing ANY 3D emossing folder, make sure you spritz it first with our Mini Mister.
