What an amazing day I had. It was my birthday and my two year anniversary from my second cancer operation! YIPPEEE!!! Two years cancer free and counting!! That is such a good feeling and I'm just glad to be celebrating another birthday!
I started celebrating at my workshop on Monday night. My VERY good friend Lauren brought a surprise for Grace and I (we were both celebrating a birthday this month)!
Grace is the gal that got me started in stamping 12 years ago and we are both still stamping. I just love her to pieces!
Here is Lauren, my very kind and dear friend. She made the most amazing cupcakes to celebrate our birthdays! She's a doll.
Then I got a HUGE package in the mail from my best stamping buddy, Sue Hyer. Yep, I just couldn't wait to open it. When I got into it, it had a box that said "Open right away" that was the handstamped goodies in the front; then there was a box that said "Happy Birthday" (so I could open that one today); then there was one that said "Do Not Open Until Christmas"!
Happy Birthday Package with an awesome card!
My Christmas gift that I can't open til Christmas (this adorable tag comes from the "Tags Til Christmas" stamp set found on page 24 of the Holiday Mini Catalog). Isn't that cute. But it says I can't open it until Christmas!!!! Dang!
And this was what was in my Birthday Box…THANK YOU SUZ!!!!
This is a shadow box filled with my favorite flowers. The glass has the Decor Element from our Definitely Decorative Catalog (page 28). Isn't this gorgeous!
That's it for now. I'll show you more tomorrow!

Not sure if I am looking at an old posting or not. Anyway, Happy Birthday whenever it was. And congratulations on another cancer free year. I too am a survivor when they discovered I had a spot on my liver. But I had other problems besides and needed a transplant. I am a 7 year survivor. Aren’t we blessed? I enjoy my daily life and enjoy stamping too. Love your site and go often to see what you are up too. Many good ideas. Thanks for being so willing to share.
I see by looking at other posts that your cancer was 2010? My transplant surgery was 2008. Doing well in 2015. Stay well and thanks for sharing. Lydia
