Looking Glass Green House

March 31, 2023. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you a card from our Looking Glass Series – Green House. These pictures don’t do this card justice. The layering and the colors are amazing. Let’s take a look at what I have for you today…

Looking Glass Circle & Square Frames
Love & Blessings Sentiment
Colors I used:
Clay Pots – E00, E13, E15, E79
Flowers – V09, V12, V15, Y11, Y15, Y17
Leaves – YG13, G24, G28
Distress Oxide Ink Pad – (I used Tumbled Glass)
Using the Slimline Puffy Cloud Stencil with our Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and Blending Brush you will burnish the cloud color directly onto your base card. 
Cut 2 pieces of white card stock 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ . From the Looking Glass Green House die set, center and cut the two dies (leaves and the flowers) from these pieces and set aside. Cut a piece of white card stock that is 3″ x 3″ and cut the square from the Looking Glass Circle & Square Frames Die. Cut a top layer that is 3 3/4″ x 5″ and stamp your Love & Blessings Sentiment towards the bottom of the layer. Cut out the “window” from that layer (I centered mine towards the top of the layer above the sentiment. Color anything you want to color before you put your layers together. I used Copic Markers to color mine.
Add Thin Foam Squares to the “leaves frame” and the TOP frame.
Put 3D Foam Strips on the “flowers frame”.
On the back of the frame you will use the Thin Foam Squares as shown above.
Add all your layers together. When you are done (before you add it to the base card) you are going to add TWO LAYERS of Crafty Foam Tape (you will put one layer of the tape as shown above, then remove the protective strip making it sticky, now add another layer of Crafty Foam Tape on TOP of that first layer). This gives you TWO LAYERS of Crafty Foam Tape making it level with the frames. Now add this to your card base over the clouds.
It’s hard to see here but the layering and the depth is amazing.
