Mug Mats

Hi Stampers,

 

Yesterday I showed you one of the cards we did at Big Shot class (we do five projects), here is another one that we did.  My friend, Jan Burnett, showed me how to make Mug Mats.  They are so cute.  I have a couple gals that do not sew so I was trying to think of things that we could do with our NEW Stampin' Up! material and not have to use a sewing machine.  Soooooo…this is what I came up with.

Here is a close up. 

I used our brand new Deck the Halls Designer Fabric and matching Deck the Halls Designer Buttons (they are sooooooo cute);  the Scallop Square die; the Pennant Die; our linen thread to put it together and to sew the button on.  The other product I used to put this together was the Big Shot Fabric Adhesive Roll.  This stuff is a MUST HAVE!  You just iron on your detailed pieces.  I just love this stuff.

 

Instead of sewing it or quilting it, I just put two linen thread x's on each corner.  They came out so stinken cute!
