Hide and Seek Gnome Pop Out

February 27, 2023. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing such a fun card to make! It’s a hide and seek card that is just so versatile – use any set – cute, elegant, holiday….anything! They can all play hide and seek! It’s so easy to make with just a few moving parts.

The Hide & Seek Metal Die is one of the easiest moveable dies I’ve ever used. It is just amazing and very fast to put together. I’ve done two versions of this card where I used the gnomes but you can decorate any way your heart desires or your needs dictate!
For this one I used the Easter Gnomes Dies as they are playing peek-a-boo on this adorable birthday card. I also used the Happy Wishes Sentiment Die and some Crystal Glaze on their noses and balloons. Can you see the white streaks on the balloons? That was done with our Luma Bleed Proof White. Just use our #1 Watercolor Brush to apply so it’s nice and thin. SOOOOOOOOO stinken cute!

Here is my Easter version of this gnome Hide & Seek card. I used Copic Markers to color everything.

Green Gnome: BG11, BG15, BG49

As you saw in the video, I use many of the same tools that I tell you about in each blog post. Have them on hand so when you need them, they are there. The Stampendable is awesome to help with large stamps and to help glue down your layers. The Crease Tool is like ironing when you sew, you need to do it to make everything crisp and line up. The Retractable Pick is useful for so many things. You saw in the video how many times I reached for it. It’s a must have. My Fine Tip Tweezers are also used in every project I create. They are just necessities.
I don’t always mention it but under each and every project I do, I use my Media Grip Mat. It’s the gray mat you see in my videos. It measures 12″ x 10.5″ and is a crafter’s best friend! It holds your projects in place for blending, mixing, stamping, printing and stenciling. It held my little gnome hands right in place so they didn’t fly away (they are so small). It’s durable, heat resistant and washable, perfect for all the crafting you do and not getting your work area messy. Remember it just washes right up. We also carry the Non-Stick Mat (instead of using those pesky pieces of scrap paper, use one of our Non-Stick Mats)
