Clean and Simple Poinsettia

December 4, 2022. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you a Clean and Simple Poinsettia. Using white on white is always so elegant. The holidays are getting so close. Do you still need an idea for your cards? Here’s a gorgeous card that can be done so fast. Change up the colors and it looks like a totally different card. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Prills – I used “Silver Lining” (one of my favorites)
Prills – I used “I’m A-Maized”
I used the smallest poinsettia die in the Elegant Poinsettia set. I cut three of them and adhered them together with our Deluxe Adhesive. I also cut one out of our Silver Mirror Paper and cut two of the petals off to use as leaves on the flower. Curl the flower petals with our Crease Tool.
I cut the We Wish You A Merry Christmas three times – one out of our Silver Mirror Paper and two times out of white card stock. I adhered them together and attached them to the card with our Deluxe Adhesive.
I added the Silver Lining Prills with our Craft Spoon and Crystal Glaze.
To make the scored lines on the top layer use the foam pad from the Die Brush and Foam Pad, your Crease Tool and the ruler from the Make Art Stay-Tion. I love this look and use it often. Attach the top layer to the card base, use our White Crafty Foam Tape.
Here is another version of the card. I changed where I put the lines and changed the color of the poinsettia. It totally changes the look of the card.
For this version of the sentiment, I cut the die three times…one from black card stock and two from the red. I off set the black just slightly to give it the “shadow” appearance.
I just love the way this came out! Clean and Simple!
