July 15, 2022. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you the GREAT REVEAL….Select stores were chosen to reveal the new Hero Arts collection and we were one of them! I took this holiday combo (stamp set and matching dies) and turned it into a summer beauty. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today….
Thoughts and Prayers Sentiments
This stamp set has a Holiday feel but look how I transformed it into a “Springy/Summery” feel that I used for a sympathy card. I tell you all the time….”look outside the box”. The flowers came from the Build a Basket Die Set. When you first look at THAT set, you would think it’s for Easter. Well it can be but look a little closer, I use these flowers all the time. Get those sets out that you think can only be used for a certain occasion and repurpose them!!!
I used the beautiful With Sympathy Die for the sentiment (I cut three and stacked them for some dimension) and on the inside I used the stamp set called Thoughts and Prayers. This set is new to the shop and has some beautiful sayings. Make sure you click on the link and check it out. I also used the Slimline Zig Zag die set for this card. I can’t tell you how much I love the softness of this new die in the Teaspoon of Fun Shop. It’s just beautiful. I used it yesterday on this card…
The Finch Greetings Combo has two birds with matching dies and 4 sentiments. I used the Build a Basket Die Set for the flowers and colored them with our Copic Markers. For the centers I added some of our Pastel Fairy Jewels.
