Today’s card from Teaspoon of Fun is another in our Sprinkles of Spring card series. This uses one of our many many border dies. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Make Art Stay-tion Extra Magnets
Distress Oxide – Saltwater Taffy
Distress Oxide – Villainous Potion
Copics (all links to copics in our shop are below in our menu)
Colors I used –
Y00, Y02, Y15, Y17, Y26, E33, E37, E79 G21, G28, BG75, C3
Can you see the Stained Glass Border Die? I cut it out of our Gun Metal Mirror Paper. It’s so hard to see the beauty of this piece. Our Gun Metal Mirror Paper is lighter than black and darker than a gray. It’s gorgeous!!!
I used our Seasonal Sayings for this card. I love this set.
The font is so pretty for all four of these.
The Bees and Flowers Fancy Dies are one of my favorites! I’ve used them a lot in different posts. It was perfect for this card. This is a mini slimline card. I used our Mini Slimline Card Bases and our Mini Slimline Envelopes.
So let’s take a look at just how we created this….
Using our Make Art Stay-tion and our Make Art Stay-tion Extra Magnets I secured the Mini Slimline Card Base. You will need the Sticky Note Tape Roll as a mask. Place your Sticky Note Tape 1 3/8″ apart. I also made sure I left a quarter inch exposed at the bottom (I did that on purpose to make another line of color). Using our Blending Brushes and Distress Oxide – Mustard Seed, Saltwater Taffy and Villainous Potion I blended the colors together.
When you take the tape away, this is what you have. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
I adhered the Gun Metal Mirror Paper with our Deluxe Adhesive.
I colored the flowers with the following Copics and used our THIN 3D Foam Squares to adhere them.
