Hi ladies,
Well, I'm all packed and ready to go. It's like Christmas Eve when you are a kid…you can't get to sleep fast enough to wake up so you get your surprises! Well, I'm on my way to St. George Utah to spend five days with Shelli Gardner (the owner of Stamin' Up!) and 99 other of the top demonstrators in the company. I'm so stinken excited.
Before I go, I wanted to share with you what we did at my Demonstrators Meeting on Sunday.
Didn't I tell you they were so stinken cute! I got a kit for each of the girls that came to the meeting. They just LOVED them and they learned what a "birds mouth" was. Do you know?
My husband is commercial contrator and he was watching me (the stamper) build a house. huh….it was killing him to watch so I went and got him his own kit. His DEFINITELY turned out better but he showed me how to build it. A birds mouth is one of the corners on the house. If you do it just right, it comes out PERFECT, if not, you have gaps in the roof and the bats can fly IN! Mine has bat holes :0)
Design a house #120911 – $5.95
The kit can be found on page 37 of the NEW Holiday Mini catalog – #120911 Design a House and it only costs $5.95. It was so much fun to put together and even more fun to decorate. The girls just loved them. Look at the top of the house. See it glittery? I used the #110755 Tombow multi-purpose adhesive then added some of our Chunky Essentials Stampin' Glitter. I also used the Bitty Bat Punch #119279. Can you see the vellum in the windows. The stamping comes from the Dark and Dreary stamp set #121151 clear mount or #120837 wood mount and from the stamp set called Wicked Cool #120600 clear mount or 118738 wood mount. It really is so stinken cute!!!
It was fun having a competition with Kevin. He sprayed them for me. It only took a few minutes and dried right away. I have a contest with my downline…if they complete a house (anyway they want, any decorations) and bring it back. We will line them up and everyone will vote on their favorite. This winner will receive a $25 stamping Gift Certificate.

Remember to stay tuned next month to see all kinds of houses! Email me if you'd like to order some.
OH, DID I TELL YOU??? This is one of the projects we are doing at our Halloween Class. If you love Halloween as much as I do, email me if you are interested in taking the class, there are a few spots open.

That is so awesome that your husband helped you with the house building! I love it! I learned something new… bird mouth. My hubby has built houses to decks to remodels… I gotta ask him about "bird mouth" now. 🙂 You blog looks great and thanks for your tips.
