Everything’s Coming Up Daisies
Hidy Ho Stampers,
February 27, 2021. We are getting new products in the shop everyday – Spring is just around the corner and we are so excited to be bringing in some new dies, stamps and tools! Make sure you check it out often. Today’s post has a VERY unique Stamp/Die combo!!! Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Remember, it doesn’t have to be hard, it doesn’t have to be complicated, just fun and thoughtful. All products can be found in our Teaspoon of Fun Shoppe.
Here is an A2 card I created using the die as a BORDER die! You can make the border as big or small as you want by adjusting the card stock layer you start with.
Detailed White Embossing Powder
Heat Tool (the one I use has a link below)
Colored with Copic Markers (all Copic links below)
Spectrum Noir Glitter Pens (I used the Vibrant Floral Set)
Here is a Slimline version using the same stamp set but I’ve cut out the entire daisy. I’ll explain the uniqueness of this stamp/die combo below! It’s AWESOME!!!! I paired it with our brand new slimline die. This die has so many fun pieces to it. So many possibilities!

If I haven’t convinced you to try a slimline card, this new die, Pretty Patterns Slimline, should really win you over! The price point and the amount of dies and the different possiblities you can come up with are FANTASTIC (there’s even a peek-a-boo piece in there)!!!
In our Daisy Border Combo you get the stamp set and the die. BUT this die is so unique. You can use it to cut out the ENTIRE Daisy border or just one part of it. I’ve never seen anything like this! I love the options. You know me, I’m always telling you “it’s all about choices”! :0)
Here I cut it out as an edger/border for the card. You can make the border as big or as small as you want. It just depends on what size card base you start with.
Here I put the two dies together and cut out the entire daisy border. Isn’t that the coolest! It’s all about choices :0)!
I’m not sure if you can see it in any of the pictures but you can definitely see it on the finished cards. I raised the centers of the daisies. Here’s how you do it. First you will need your:
Foam Pad (from your Die Brush and Foam Pad combo)
Put a little dab of water in the center of your daisies (not a lot but enough to get it wet). Then you will take an impresser tool or just anything that has a rounded end and VERY GENTLY on the BACK SIDE OF THE CARD LAYER rub the center of your daisies. When you turn it back over, you will see it is embossed! I do this technique a lot with snowmen to make them a little chubby! :0)
It’s hard to see here but you can on the card and you can feel it! Pretty Cool!
This sentiment is one of our big sellers. It’s just such a pretty saying.
Card Includes Hugs and Prayers
