February 3, 2021. Today’s share has a brand new die in the shoppe – I call it the Shortest Distance Between Friends. Yes it can be used for Valentine’s Day but look how I used it. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…

This die gives you so much!!! and there are so many mix and match possiblities!!

It can be used for all seasons, holidays and events!

When I got mine, I only cut apart the inside heart.

I left the rest of the pieces together so I could maximize my cutting time.

and you can use your Die Brush and Foam Pad to get out all those little pieces.

If you cut many in different colors, you can save them for another project and pick and mix pieces.

Remember we work smarter not harder!

Springtime Fun

Hugs comes from Springtime Fun – it’s the perfect size!

For the bicycle I “paper pieced” it. I took the red bike and cut off the handle, seat and tires. I added that piece to the full black bike (which was the “base” of the bike. Then I added some Silver Mist (from the Midnight Shadows Glitter Markers) for the handles and the piect at the bottom. Then I took the Blushing Carmine (from the Ember Glow Glitter Markers) and went all over the frame of the bike giving it that glittery look! Then add your Crystal Glaze to the red part of the bike as well as to the heart balloons. SOOOOO pretty!

For the banner I used the Birds and Banners Die Combo for the label and the sentiment came from Huggable

3D Foam Micro Squares White and/or Black

These are AMAZING…game stopper!!!! I know you’ve done this. You’ve got a die cut that you needed a little dimension but only have foam squares (either regular sized or the small sized) that are too big so you have to cut them down. NOW WE HAVE MICRO!!!! OMGeee…it’s a game changer!!!! In one package you get 2,508 and you don’t have to CUT them or get your scissors all gunky! YEAHHHHH !!!!!!

When I open mine, I take the outside strips off and use them as Adhesive strips (they aren’t cut all the way through). The next rows in is where the magic happens! You HAVE to give it a try! WOWZER!

For the strings on the balloons, I got out my embroidery floss and used two strands for each string.
