Slimline Flamingos Are So Cute

August 24, 2020. How was your weekend? I hope you are safe and doing well. Praying for everyone! I love to share fun and hopefully inspiration to all my card making friends. Today’s card “Slimline Flamingos Are So Cute” is another slimline FUN FUN FUN card. You don’t have to have a pool, beach or live in an area where flamingos reside to enjoy this card. You can always send it to someone that DOES love cuteness because these little guys are cuteness on overload. This is highlighting another slimline die but you can actually cut it down to a regular size card. I’m in love with our slimline collection. You can hop on over to the shop and see all of them.
Distress Oxide for the Background

I used Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade
and of course apply with our Blending Brushes
My middle flamingo is really filled with fun!!!
He is sitting in a bucket but the bucket is sitting on a pile of sand!
I love texture! Here is how I created it….
I used the amazing Boulder Gray and Gold Rush STONE DROPS. If you haven’t used sand drops, you are missing an amazing embellishment. They really feel like they have sand in them! SOOOOOOO COOL! I put some drops of GOLD RUSH Stone Drops on first, then added a few drops of BOULDER GRAY Stone Drops. THEN….when it was STILL WET, I added some Gilt Trip Prills. The stone drops acted as my adhesive for the prills. It’s SOOOOOOO cool!
I used Copics to color. See the menu below for colors we carry.
I used our Crystal Glaze for their snouts and glasses!
To assemble this, I used our BLACK FOAM TAPE because I have a black base.
I also used our Fine Tip Black Pen to add some details.
It’s a must have in your stamping bag of tricks.
