Contact Paper Masking Technique with Deb Valder

Project· Video

21 Feb

Hidy Ho Stampers,

I’m beyond excited to be a guest presenter for SplitCoastStampers once again.  They focused on the card and Reverse Masking Technique but I wanted to show you the WHOLE project.

I wanted to show you the NEW Card Carrier Die!

DI-0386

Isn’t it the cutest thing EVER!!!!!

I took off the card to show you the bag AND the card.

MAKE SURE you watch the video.  There are some cool techniques in there including how to curl your thread!  Click here if you are viewing this from your email.

So what did you think?

The background that I used in this sample is Fringe Wall Background.

Here are a few more examples of the Reverse Masking (Contact Paper Masking).  For any of you that participated in our HUGE EVENT last year “Stamping Saratoga Style” one of our guest designers was Barb Stomieroski, she came up with this amazing project and used the Contact Paper.  Here are some of her designs.

Totally Turtle, Jelly Wishes and Catching Waves

Artful Fins and Catching Waves

Rainbow Bubbles

Barb is an amazing artist and we are so fortunate to have her in our Amazing Bloomers group!  If you ever want to join #TeamDebValder, just let me know and we can get you on board!  It’s so much fun to be part of the Amazing Bloomers.

Hi Deb, Firstly congratulations on being selected to be a host for SplitCoastStampers, I certainly will be watching that video tutorial too. Then I wanted to say what a wonderful project you have shared with us crafters. Also so many TOP TIPS throughout although my favourite has to be how to curl the Lemon grass thread for the balloon strings. Thank you Deb. :O)
