Macarons, Macarons, Macarons!!!!  Aren’t these the cutest little things EVER!!!!  And they are Gluten Free!  So adorable!  I love the way this card came out and REMEMBER all the products used in this card can be found at the end of this post (they are clickable links to make it easier for you to shop til you drop)!!!!!

I used some Journey Glaze (surprise surprise)!

to get that glass look over the cookies!

and I used the Gel Press to get that beautiful tie-dye look for the banner.

So EXACTLY what is a Macaron????  A macaron is a sweet meringue-based confection made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food coloring. Outside France, a typical macaron is presented with a ganache, buttercream or jam filling sandwiched between two such cookies. 

So aren’t you glad you now know what they are??  My challenge to you is to go out to your local bakery and get one!!!  Try it!!!!  You will LOVE THEM!!!!!  Have you ever had one?  Did you know what they were before I educated you!?  My daughter is Gluten Free an she loves them.
