Hidy Ho Stampers,

Current Hostess Code:  FQ4AZJ4E

Well we are home!  Man Oh Man was that a long flight.  I couldn’t keep track of all the time changes -it’s a SIX hour time difference but it took us 12 hours to get home to Albany, New York!!!  Hawaii is a sad place to leave because it’s so beautiful but I am a homebody and I’m glad to be home.

It was “so beautiful”!

Catalog Update….

When I was in Hawaii, the UPS Man delivered my catalogs…..

Katie brought them in from the front porch…..

All 200 of them and she thought it would be nice to arrange them for the picture!

She unboxed all of them to put the labels on….

catalogs2

THEN…. organized them ready for mailing – ALL 200 OF THEM! (isn’t she the greatest daughter ever)!!!  I didn’t have the heart to tell her there is another 200 coming :0)!  OMGosh!

You can start to order from the new catalog on June 2nd.  Get your orders ready now so you don’t miss out on anything (you know how it goes, the more popular it is, the faster it goes on a back ordered list).  If you are in a club or ordered from me online in the last year, I have a catalog for you.  Anyone can purchase them at a discount just contact me to let me know you need one at stampladee@aol.com.

Today’s card…

Today’s card is called the Puzzle Card because you have to put the pieces back together like a puzzle.

And here is the video to help you understand how to create it (if you are viewing this in your inbox, simply click on the picture and it will take you to my blog where you can view the video)….

What did you think?  Isn’t it simple!

If you did four of them, you could put the “inside” piece on a different corner with each card and you have a set Great gift idea!  Isn’t that cool!  This card has so many possibilities and it’s a GREAT way to use up your DSP Scraps!  Don’t forget to make the matching envelope liner.  OH SO BEAUTIFUL!

Card measurements:

Card Base is 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″; the inside Rose Red layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″; the inside Whisper White Piece is 3 3/4″ x 5″.  The outside “puzzle pieces” are as follows: Rose Red is cut at 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ and that piece is cut into 1 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ pieces.  The Designer Series Paper is cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and that piece is cut into 1 5/8″ x 2 1/8″ pieces.

Welcome Home Deb! I know you must have had a wonderful time in Hawaii. I hope to go there someday. Was so happy for you to be able to go and relax for a while after such a busy stamping year. Loved the idea of your puzzle card. So often I have a small piece of DSP left and its a puzzle to know what to do with it or how to use it. Thanks for your great idea.
