This is such an easy card. Here are the measurements for the two pieces you need to cut then make sure you watch the video to see how to put it together.
Your base card (on this particular card, it’s a single sheet) that measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
The outside piece – Cut a piece that measures 5 1/4″ x 11 1/4″ (you will need a 12″ x 12″ to start with) and score this on the long side at 4″ and 8″. Use your bone folder to crease these scores.
The inside piece – Cut a piece that measures 5 1/4″ x 7″ and score this on the long side at 3 1/2″
Next you will have to cut out the slits on the bottom of this inside piece. with the short end on top measure over 5/8″ then bring your cutter down to the 5″ mark on the ruler and cut down. Flip your cardstock and do this exactly the same on the other side. NOW, use your scissors to cut off these little tails or put your cardstock in with the long side on top and measure in 2″ and just slice these two little tabs off. That’s it! Watch the video to see how to assemble.
