Golden Nugget for Free Product…
Hi girls,
Okay so I'm the last demonstrator in the WORLD to update her blog. Well I've been busy…getting things ready for you! I can't wait to show you what I've been working on. But that will be in just a minute.
My Annual Stamp and Accessory Sale went so fab-tab-ulous. I was with wonderful friends all day and we laughed and visted and they went home with some great bargains. Now my shelves are clear for my first order to hit the front porch (I will be making my UPS man a card with some cookies)! He just loves me!!! And for those of you that attended, the winner of the GOLDEN NUGGET was….
Pat!
YIPPEEEE….she was the one that won the golden nugget. All friends that attended the 10th Annual Open House received a beautifully decorated box with product inside plus a hug and a kiss from me (a HERSEY Hug and Kiss that is); then ONE lucky friend received the box with the GOLDEN NUGGET just like in Willie Wonka!
This is the Bitty Box and Envelope Die (#115967) from the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog with the scallop punch flowers for the top. I made 50 of them and they were all gone by the end of the day!
Pat is seen here holding the nugget and the box. When she comes to club, she will see what she has won! So stay tuned.
Next I wanted to share with you Katie's 21st Birthday (my baby). We celebrated by going to the Saratoga Gaming and Raceway (voted the most beautiful quarter mile track in the US). It was so much fun and she had NOOOOOOO idea it was happening (I LOVE SURPRISES)! So we started off the evening with a buffet in the club house. They put the VIP princess and her party in the best seats in the house! We were overlooking the track and got to see every race and watched the sunset all at the same time. It was gorgeous. Here's a picture of Kate and I (and yes she was a winner and I don't mean that because she was wearing that tiara)…
Kate and I
So that is my family update for today…now for more stamping news…Look at how I reorganized my new stamp pads…
How do you like that, even I can see the names! So how did I do it?
First I printed out all the colors on label sheets (Avery 5160). I've made a pdf file for you to downlaod onto your labels. Click on the picture BELOW to download the pdf file (phew I did all the hard work for you!).
Click the picture above for the file.
Next, you will need to cut the labels into strips with your Stampin' Up! Fiskars Cutter (# 104152) so your punch will fit.
Next, take your Word Window Punch (#119857) and punch out each label. You are now ready to attach them to your stamp pads. Because they are printed on labels, you just peel and stick – "get out of town" yes, it's that easy!!!!! WAH LAH…you are done.
Hope you enjoyed my post today. See you tomorrow, enjoy your day and thank you for stopping by my blog.
Easel Graduation Card
I participated in a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Swap recently. I received this graduation card from Lisa Curcio. It's so cute. I thought maybe some of you may need a card for this occasion. Just change up the colors to match your graduates school colors.
Outside of the card (I will tell you how to do the hat below)
Inside of the card
What the card looked like when it was open and standing.
Here is the side view.
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Go Graduate(#118518 wood mount or #120054 clear mount)
Cardstock: Bravo Burgundy More Mustard and Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Bravo Burgundy and More Mustard
Accessories: Bravo Burgundy and More Mustard Markers; BIG SHOT, Top Note Die; 3/4"circle punch; Dimensionals
1. Cut your card 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" (fold both pieces INWARD)
2. You will need another piece for the front cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" this is attached to the lower front of the card that is scored (your layering piece for this one is 4" x 5 1/4").
3. Your inide will have the white message piece which measures 3 1/2" x 3".
4. and the other inside piece is put on with dimensionals so it sticks up a little (this will help your card stay open and look like an easel). The bottom measurement is 3 5/8" x 1 3/8" and the top white piece (the one that has the feet on it) is 3 1/2" x 1 1/4". Remember to put those two together and pop them up with dimensionals.
5. So how do we make the hat? You will cut a top note piece. Then turn that piece and line up the points with the points on the die and run it through the BIG SHOT again. This will give you a square piece. A very HELPFUL hint is to mark your Top Note Die like I did in the picture below. It helps line up the square.
I used one of our Zig Painty Pens (we don't sell them anymore :0(. So you can use a permanent marker.
This is a fun card to make. You will finish it up with strings made from cardstock and a 3/4" circle popped up with dimensionals. Conatct me at stampladee@aol.com if you'd like to order any of these items for your graduation cards or you can shop at my store 24/7 just click here and begin shopping…don't miss the clearance rack! LOTS of savings and they are changing often.
On another note, we had a blast at all my 10/10/10's this past week. It was all thumbs up for Arlene who said she wouldn't have missed it for the world or even a finger that was almost cut off! YIKES….she loves doing the 10/10/10's!
Enjoy your evening and thank you for reading my post.
Watercolor Trio Stamp Set
Don't you just love the new Summer Mini Catalog? Here are the samples I created for the event this past weekend. The stamp set I used is Watercolor Trio #120084 found in the Summer Mini Catalog on page 16.
Watercolor Trio Stamp Set
The box is made with the Two Tags Die #115954 (page 198); the flowers were made with the Blossom Party Die #115971 (pagd 202) and the little flower in the middle of the box is done with the new Itty Bitty Shapes Punch #118309 found on page 11 of the new Summer Mini Catalog.
And one last picture for the day. Here is my son's dog Moose…isn't he adorable!
Enjoy your evening.
Diva Day Surprise…
My "New Collections Table" was filled with our new colors and food to match. It was such a hoot and I was cracking myself up at the grocery store! Trying to remember all the new colors and foods to match. Now I just have to learn to spell them. Okay so here we go…
Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke
Peach Parfait, Melon Mambo and Perfect Plum
We have Crumb Cake and Early Espresso with Old Olives (the olives are really new but the color is called "old" you understand). Do you see the Cake Plate? Do you see the Chalkboard Decor Elements, these are the oval Chalkboard Labels you will see in the new Summer Mini. So cute.
And here we have Concord Crush, Pear Pizza and Tangerine Tango, and Chocolate Chip
Daffodil Delight
Now there is one treat that never made it to our new Collections Table…that one landed UPSIDE down on the door of my oven (okay so I never said I was a cook…I STAMP)! So this is what it looked like before I scrapped it off! Now I have to go clean the oven - argh!
And here is what the sign looked like on the Collections Table..
So this was our New Collections table. Stay tuned. Tomorrow I will show you the pictures of the projects we did! I think you are going to like them.
