Halloween is SO much fun!

Hi stampers,

I'm so excited about Halloween.  My Halloween Class is on Saturday and I'm cutting and prepping for it now.  I'm also getting the house ready for my guests.  I put my Decor Element up on the door…

This is my front door.  The Decor Element that I used is found in the Holiday Mini on page 8.  Spooky Things #120909 in black (or you can get it in dark gre #122296)  It has a set of 10.

And here is one of our projects.  I saw this adorable little house on Stampin' Connections and added the witch!  Do you see her feet?  The box is made out of our Mini Milk Carton Die found on page 209 of the Idea Book and Catalog.  I added the roof, did some sponging then added the witch!  She is from the stamp set Wicked Cool (#120600 in clear mount or #118738 in wood mount).  This is the cutest Halloween stamp set and it's my favorite.  It's got everything you need and more for Halloween!  Too stinken cute.  The box is filled with Halloween candy.  Just take off the clip and open up the roof to eat the surprise!  Your trick or treaters will LOVE this TREAT!

Here's a top view.

Enjoy.

I’m leavin’ on a jet plane…

Remember that song?  Boy did I just date myself.  Anyway…I wanted to share with you my Swap Card from Founder's Circle.  I don't think I did that.  Remember I made 136 of these.  I love the way they came out.

Front View, do you see how the web glistens.  How cool is that??!

And here is a side view.  Do you see the 3D look?

There is so much cool stuff incorporated into this card.

Spider Web Folder #120889; Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink (121084 Top Coat) I used for the web - you can see through it but it glistens.  I did 136 cards and still had lots left in that one bottle.  There were 63 lines on each web times 136 cards, you do the math!!!  WOWZER!  Chunky Essentials Glitter – 108797 put on with the Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue; Sticky Pages; our new Rhinestones and more.  I just loved putting these cards together.

Okay, I'm off to Virginia for our Stampin' Up! Regional.  Hope you liked my card.

Camp Swap…

Good evening,

Camp Swap is still in full progress.  I'm still faithfully working on my swaps for my Founders Circle trip to St. George, Utah later this month.  I just love working on swaps.  I think they're coming out pretty good if I do say so myself.  I think up my idea then work and work on them (it's called being a control freak).  I just couldn't ask anyone to help, not because I don't like the help but it's because I just love doing them and the satisfaction I get after doing them is amazing.  Anyway…here is what they look like in the next stage.  There are only a few here…remember I'm working on 135 of them for my Founders Circle trip with Shelli Gardner, owner of Stampin' Up!  She always swaps with us, I love the cards she makes….I hope she likes Halloween!  I DO!  Did you know that Halloween is the 2nd largest holiday for decorating.  Stay tuned in the coming weeks to see what other Halloween treats I have in store for you.

Like I said I only work on 25 at a time.  It's fun to see progress.  With all the layers, I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to pack them to get to St. George.  YIKES, that could be the only problem.  FUN FUN FUN!

Here is another card I got in the swap the other day.  Isn't it cute.  It was made by Michelle Burkett.  She used the new spider background and shimmer paint for the background.  I love how she did the coloring on the stamp.

Well that's it for now!  Hope you liked the post.  I'll keep updating you on the Camp Swap as I get them done.  For now, I'm forging on!  Have a great eveing.

Spook-tac-u-lar…

Good eeeeeevening ladies,

I had my demonstrator get together on Sunday and one of the winning make and takes was done by Sarah and Trish.  This is the most adorable project and so easy.

I get so excited about Halloween.  The stores have started to put out their candy and decorations.  So much fun.

If you do not have a demonstrator or if you are one of my customers (I do not want to take anyone elses customers) and would like to order the supplies, let me know.  You can order them by emailing me at stampladee@aol.com or going to my website (http://stampladee.stampinup.net) and ordering 24/7 online.  Here are the supplies used:

Concord Crush cardstock (#119792)

Cardstock Vellum (#101856)

Big Shot (#113439)

Fancy Favor Box Die (#115965)

Extended cutting pads (#113478)

Extended Premium Crease Pad (#117630)

Spider Web Embossing Folder (#120889) available for sale on September 1st

Dark and Dreary Stamp Set (#120837 wood mount or #121151 clear mount) available for sale on September 1st

Black Stazon Ink (#101406)

1/2" Lace Trim Raven (#120988) available for sale on September 1st

Bitty Bat Large Punch (#119279)

1/8" Taffeta Ribbon Old Olive (#119256)

You will cut a 2 1/4" x 2 3/8" square in the front of the luminary.  Make sure you cut this square before you run the cardstock through the embossing folders.  You will need to emboss one side then turn and emboss the other side.  I attached the velum with mini glue dots and I attached the Raven Ribbon with Tombow Adhesive Glue.  There is a battery mini candle inside to light it up.  SOOOOOOOo cute.

The can is wrapped with our 3/8" twill tape.  So stinken cute!

Hope you enjoyed my post.  Stop back soon.
