Easy Events Stamp Set
Hidy Ho stampers,
The new all occasion stamp set called Easy Events (#116958 wood mount or #123225 clear mount) found on page 57 of the Idea Book and Catalog is a lot of fun to work with. We were given a "Workshop in a Bag" while at convention and I've been playing with the cards. They are so stinken cute. It's one stop shopping with this set, it has a little of everything. What do you think?
Isn't this cute. It is a note-sized card #107311 found on page 182 of the Idea Book and Catalog.
The envelope was sealed, 1" was cut off the top and I used the 2 1/2" circle punch to make the dip in the envelope. Everything was stamped with Jet Black Stazon Ink. The Happy Birthday sentiment was put on the outside as well as adding it to a banner on the inside. The cupcake was colored with our Stampin' Write Markers then I added Two-Way Glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. The last embellishment was the a Melon Mambo flower with a rhinestone in the center. It is even cuter in person!
and here is a little LOVE card made from the same stamp set.
Well that's it for today. Thank you for stopping by.
New Stuff Coming…
Hi girls,
I know I know you have been wondering where I've been. Well I got my order from the NEW Holiday Mini Catalog and I've been playing (nonstop) with all my free new product! I'm getting samples ready for you and having a blast doing it. That's one of the best perks of being a demonstrator – you get to order the product early and I get most of mine for free, YIPPPEEEE! I had $400 in free money to spend on this catalog so I got at least one of everything and some several of! Okay enough for the teasing….
I'm also working on my swaps for Founder's Circle. This year 135 of the top demonstrators will be going to St. George Utah for five days of sheer bliss! We talk and share and just have a stinken riot. This year we are going to have a Sock Hop Jammie Party. During that Jammie Party, we do our annual swap. I'm so excited with the way my card came out. Now to start the assembly line. It's fun and I just love doing it. I can't show you the completed card until after I get back but I will show you the layers as I'm doing them…there is a lot to it. I did share it with my clubs this past week and they said they LOVED it. YIPPPEEE!!!
Okay, that's it for tonight, I just wanted you to know where I was. Enjoy your day and I'll be back. Thank you for stopping by.
Stamp Camp Door Prizes
Good evening ladies,
What a spectacular day today. It was raining here in Ballston Spa, New York and the perfect weather for a Stamp Camp. We had great stamping projects, great friends, SUPER food and lots and lots of fun. The thing that I love the most about Stamp Camp is all the fun and laughing we do. They girls loved all the projects we do.
Here is Ruth with two of the girls finishing up at this table.
Isn't this adorable?!!! I just loved this door prize. When the demonstrators sign up to work at Stamp Camp they have to have to a few things. First they need to invite their customers to come to Stamp Camp (no problem)! Then they have to make a handstamped door prize. I look so forward to this part of Stamp Camp. These girls never stop amazing me. This was one of the cutest things I've ever seen….Ruth Baxter created a Tropical Tray ready for any party.
She had a set of these adorable treat boxes. The box was made out of the Bitty Box and Envelope Die #115967. Then she punched a strip of the Island Oasis Paper #117173 with the Eyelet Border Punch #113692 then spiraled it around into a flower (this can also be done with the Table Setting Die #116819). Then for the leaf, she cut this out of the Island Oasis Designer Series Paper #117173. SO CUTE!
On the bottom of each of the Wine Glasses (plastic), she put the felt flowers made from the Circles #2 Die #114526. At my last Demonstrator's Meeting, I taught the girls how to make these. They are so much fun and so easy. Instead of wine charms (the norm) she used wine flowers!
And if that wasn't enough, to finish off the door prize, she made coasters! She made these out of the Scallop Circle Die #113468. She again used the Island Oasis Designer Series Paper #117173. She also used the new stamp set from the Summer Mini #120048 Clear Mount or #116968 Wood Mount – Favorite Thoughts. She used a different saying on each coaster. What a great conversation piece added to the entire set.
I just loved this project. Stay tuned tomorrow for more projects from Stamp Camp.
We also had a huge number of people sign up as demo's. You can't beat the price. The Mini starter kit is filled with NEW product that will appear in the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog. And you can get the rest of the new colors and products for 30% off with your first order after signing up. Contact me if you are interested. It's a deal you DON'T want to pass over!
Enjoy your evening and thank you for checking on me!
