Strength and Hope
Hidy Ho stampers,
Today was a gorgeous day here in Upstate New York FINALLY!!!! We are grilling out today. YIPPPEEEE. Anyway, today is May 1st and lots of new stuff going on. I just couldn't wait to share with you our new stamp set called Strength and Hope. It is a set that is dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness. Stampin' Up! is donating $2 from each set that is purchased to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. BCRF is dedicated to preventing breast cancer and finding a cure in our lifetime by funding clinical and translational research worldwide. As a 2 year breast cancer survivor, I'm really excited about this. I'm hoping that this research will help to eliminate this horrible disease.
Here is a card I created using this set. I will be doing a Strength and Hope Class soon. This will be one of the cards we do in the class.
Here is a side view. The butterfly has dazzling Diamonds Glitter on it.
and a closeup of the flower made out of Very Vanilla Seam Binding and a Pearl.
Stay tuned for this amazing class. Thank you for stopping by, I hope you liked my post.
We are sooooo excited….
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Well I've been holding it in but now I can let it out!!!! JOSH and MEGAN GOT ENGAGED! YIPPPEEEEE….I'm so excited. So what do you think?
Here is the ring he picked out for her. He's the "Rock Doc" (he has his PhD in Geology) so do you think he picked the right rock? It's gorgeous.
And Moose, helped to pop the question…do you like his Bow Tie? He dressed for the occasion.
And look at his little heart, it reads…."Megan will you marry me?"
And here they are….they are so excited!
With those two in mind, I created this card…
Isn't this pretty? Of course it is. I used the new Four Frames stamp set #123440 wood mount or 123442 clear mount and the new Designer Series Paper Paisley Petals #122367. You can order either or both of these these. They have to be ordered before Saturday, April 30th. So how can you order them? Spend $20 on any Stampin' Up! products and become eligible to purchase both the Four Frames Set and or the Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper. Hurry, time is almost up!
Also used on this card are the Baja Breeze Seam Binding for the bow, the Decorative Label Punch that matches our Stamp Set. See how it all coordinates.
So let the fun begin…. :0)
Getting Ready for Convention!
Hi stampers,
Well, I'm getting ready for convention. I'm working on swaps and picking out clothes and making things for friends…this is my favorite time of the year. This year my blog is up and running so my plan is to try and blog every night to let you know what happened that day. I want to take lots of pictures and I will try to get them up so you can feel the excitement every day. I can't wait for my Open House and my Demonstrator Get Together to show everyone what we learned. So make sure you attend at least one if not both of those events.
So here is one of the swaps I'm working on now…
This is a special Demonstrator Swap that I'm in. The swap is a Fabric Big Shot Swap. I can't wait to see what I come home with. I'm adding netting and antique brads and feathers…ooooolala!!!
And isn't this the cutest notepad. My best stampin' bud Sue Hyer made it for me. It's made with our Beautiful Butterfly Die #114507. I'm bringing it with me to convention. She cut lots and lots of butterflies and used our designer series paper for the top and bottom (It was reinforced with the cardboard from the Designer Series Paper); she added a ring and some white satin ribbon and wah lah!!! CUTE AS A BUTTERFLY!
Okay enough of this, need to get back to my swaps! Hope to see you at convention! Thank you for stopping by tonight. Remember to come back everyday for updates on Convention.
Such beautiful cards
Good evening,
Here are a few more cards from my New York Inketts Downline get together on Sunday. We swap cards at each meeting. What a fantastic way to get a variety of cards with different styles and stamp sets. So here is the first one I wanted to share with you.
This card is done with the stamp set Thoughts and Prayers. It is found on page 52 of the Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog. I just love the color combination of Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Blush Blossom and Sage Shadow. It is just stunning.
This card is so cute. It's filled with items from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. All the sets in that catalog are FREE! So this set is called Happy Moments found on page 5 of that catalog. And the Designer Series Paper is from the free 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Pad called Welcome Neighbor found on page 7. This card was done by one of my downline Linda Bennett. She added the glitter to make it sparkle. So stinken cute. Thank you Linda!
We are getting ready for Stamp Camp on Saturday, March 27. I hope you signed up. We are full! Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog. I'll touch base tomorrow.
Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper
Good morning Gals,
I promise this is the last of the purses. But we had some more cute ones last night. This is NOT my stamp room, I just decided to place some of the purses around the ART room of this school. I didn't want you to think that my stamp room looked like this! Enjoy…
This is the front and back of this purse. What I like about this is that we used the images on the paper to enhance the purse. SOOOOOOO stinken cute!
This is one of my favorites. It was the white and safforn polka dots.
Here is another Front and Back Picture. Isn't this cute! Look at how we used the birds!
And here are a few more samples from the pretend jammie party -
Inspired by Nature
Picnic Parade
I hope you enjoyed more of the purses and jammie party entries. Tune in tomorrow for more. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me!
Vintage Vouge and Card Contest!
Hi ladies,
How can you not fall in love with this gorgeous Stamp Set. Vintage Vogue. Here is a card I created for my Syracuse Presentation.
I used the paper from the 12 x 12 Sweet Pea pack that we used for our purses. The pack is found on page 33 of the Occasion Mini Catalog. Also used are the Chocolate Chip Sending Love Epoxy Brads found in the same mini on page 13. The Scallop Trim Border punch can be found on page 9 of the Sale-A-Bration catalog. I hope you like my card.
okay okay do you recognize the paper? I can't help it. I have never loved a pack of paper like I do this one! Every piece is gorgeous. This is another one of the make and takes we did at our Pretend Jammie Party. Look at all the layers and all the techniques used on this card. It was so much fun to make and I was so glad everyone shared such awesome projects. The details and product from the mini catalog on this card are OUTSTANDING! Can you pick them all out?
Okay here is your challenge…email me and tell me all the products you can see on this card from the Occasions Mini Catalog. The person with the MOST correct items found from the mini will win a stamp set of my choice! Go ahead. Click on the card and start picking it out! Remember the one with the most correct items found … WINS!!!! The deadline is Sunday, March 21st. I will post the winner next week. HEE HA!
Take care and enjoy your day. MAKE SURE YOU SIGN UP FOR STAMP CAMP BY TOMORROW…FRIDAY, March 19th.
