It’s all in the Angle with Deb Valder

Hidy Ho Stampers,

so much to share with you!  A couple of weeks ago, my daughter bought Hillary Clinton's new book "Hard Choices" and Katie, Kevin and I attened her book signing.  I stamped a very nice card for her.  We weren't allowed to bring anything past the "line" so I left it with one of the gals that was helping with the event.  I didn't know if she would ever get it but I did make a wonderful card for her…..until I got this note from her!  Yes, I got a personal note from Hillary Clinton.

Then, if that wasn't enough….America's Funniest Home Videos asked us if we would sign a Personal Release form for a video we sent in of Isabella at the racetrack!!!!  Oh my gosh!!!!  How fun is that!!!!!  I don't want to post the video here yet because I haven't read the release!  Not sure I can but how exciting is that!!!!!  I'll keep you updated!

Okay down to work!  Here is today's card technique…I call it "It's all in the Angle"!  So what's YOUR angle?!

what's-your-angle-back-to-black-and-white-designer-series-paper-fabulous-four-petite-petal-punch-merry-minis-punch-pack-deb-valder-stampin-upwhat's-your-angle-back-to-black-and-white-designer-series-paper-lots-of-thanks-petite-petal-punch-merry-minis-punch-pack-deb-valder-stampin-up

do you see the difference in the size of the pieces?

it's all in the angle!

side by side you can see it better

Your cards are lovely and I too sometimes place my greetings at an angle…it really changes the look of the entire card front. Thanks for the video!

Thank you so much for the card ideas. Starting with your idea, I just decided how much room I needed for the words and subtracted that from the card front size before I cut that piece. Then I just cut my card front at an angle like you did. This also saves my dsp paper. Not sure if this makes sense 😉
