Hidy Ho Stampers,

Can I just tell you …. brrrrrrr  Where is the end of this cold…not around here – MINUS 37 degrees last night with the windchill!!

snow

This is NOT funny! ugh!!!!!

So more stamping inside…not a bad thing but I wonder when I will see the outside again.  Love stamping this card and love the technique.  The card that was my inspiration can be found on page 27 of the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog.

Here is my take on that card…

I really like the way it came out.

So how did I do this?  here is the video.  If you are viewing this in your email, click on the picture and you will take you to my blog.  Scroll down until you get to the video.  You will love it.

Card Base is 4 1/4″ x 11 and scored at 5 1/2″; Basic Black layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″ and the Watercolor paper is 3 3/4″ x 5″.

Thank you for sharing this great idea Deb. I would never have thought to make a impression with a die. What a great idea. I am going to card case your card, I can’t wait to try this! I can’t believe the weather you are having, stay warm. What is happening there is over the top crazy. Brrrr is right.

Can you tell me which side of the thinlit to brayer the on. And also why doesn’t the thinlit cut your crease pad when it was hanging over the paper?
The card is wonderful and the technique is awesome. I can’t wait to try it.

This is a great way to mail a card with that beautiful butterfly. Great idea Deb. We in the south should feel really lucky for the good weather we have had. I think I would be depressed if I lived in a place with so much snow. If we see snow in the air, they call off school! You will be thankful for a Spring this year, I’m sure. Stay warm and hope the snow and cold will soon be over. In the mean time keep your beautiful cards coming. Look forward to them. Thanks!

Hi Michele, I brayer on the cutting side! I think it’s a healing pad but No it does not cut the crease pad! It’s a great technique. If you have any questions, let me know. deb http://www.stampladee.stampinup.net for all your shopping needs
