Hidy Ho Stampers,

CURRENT HOSTESS CODE:  JMDQAN2N

Happy July!  Phew, June is over.  Boy was that a blurrrrr.  An update on my mom, she is starting to come along.  Her accident was on May 29th.  We can see progress.  She’s got a long way to go but she is a fighter (now I know where I get it), nothing can keep her down!  Love her to pieces!  Thank you all for your kind words and cards that you’ve sent to her!  She is over the moon excited when she gets a handstamped card.  THANKYOU!!!!  Many of you asked if I would give you her address…here is it…Pat Culora, 7 Hawkeye Drive, Mohican Hill Apts, Apt D, Ballston Spa, NY  12020.  Stampers are the best!!!!  :0)

Here is today’s card, I call it the double flip flop card.

So what do you think?  Pretty cool huh?  I love this style of card.  If you are looking at this from your email, click on the picture below to see the video.  I’m not sure why but the videos don’t show up in the email????

Here are a few more samples with different stamp sets….

I love this stamp set (this saying is so appropriate)

just love it!

Card Dimensions:

Card Base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″.

For the “fold-over” put a tic mark at the top at 1/2″ and on the side at 3 3/4″.  Now connect these tic marks with your Stampin’ Trimmer (use the scoring blade) so you don’t cut off the fold.

Inside layers are 4″x 5 1/4″ and 3 3/4″ x 5″

Outside layers are 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and 3 1/4″ and 3 1/4″

Tah Dah!!!!  Let me know if you have any questions.  Please stop back often and leave me a comment.  I love hearing from you all!  It makes my day!

So glad to hear your Mom is healing. I’m sure it will take some time. My caring thoughts and prayers go out to her. It sound like she is a very special lady. I will try to get a card to her after my trip. Will have to try this Double Flip card. I liked the stamp sets you chose. Neat card, Deb.

Love the card! Thanks so much for sharing. Can’t wait to try making one. Question for you: when using an image that is directional, for example the deer, won’t the deer be sideways when the card is flipped open?

LOVE the card..however, if I do the Elk and position it facing the correct way on the front, once you open it, the elk isn’t right, what am I doing wrong?

Hi Ellen, thank you so much for your lovely comment. To answer your question, yes, it is sideways, that’s when you turn the focus onto the panel to the right. Don’t put a saying under the deer but put your sentiment on the right panel! It works and looks great. If you have any questions, please let me know. deb http://www.stampladee.stampinup.net for all your shopping needs.
