Flowery Heart Frame Card
Hidy Ho Stampers,
February 7, 2022. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you another beautiful brand new die in our shop! It’s called Floral Heart Frame. I used it to make a thinking of you type of card that is also a shaker card. Beauty combined with whimsical. Okay let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
I really like using every little piece I can. I cut out the frames and saved the flowers so I can use them for the shakers in the middle of the heart. Can you see them? Here is the “sandwich” for this card:
- Cut FOUR Floral Heart Frames for this card. I use the Die Brush and Foam Pad and the Retractable Craft Pick to clean out this very intricate die. You can also use a dryer sheet (CLICK HERE to watch my video if you haven’t seen it for this technique).
- Glue three of them together for dimension. After adding each layer, put a scrap piece of paper over it and RUB WITH THE Stampendable tool we carry in the shop. This is used with our Misti but it can also be used to evenly apply pressure to your glued piece. I always put a piece of scrap paper down first so I don’t get the Stampendable dirty.
- Next glue those three to the Mint Julip card layer making sure the frame around the heart is well glued.
- Now add your little flowers to the middle of the heart (you can also use Prills for the shakers on this card – we have so many colors to choose from) using our Jewel Picker to pick them up easily.
- Glue a piece of Acetate Sheet that is just a little shorter than the scalloped frame (I cut mine at 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″). I put glue on the top edge and around the heart only of the third layer of frame and laid the acetate on top of that.
- Now take the last Floral Heart Frame and glue to the acetate (just as you did with the first three).
7. Take your sentiment of choice (I LOVE LOVE Warm Fuzzies Sentiments Set). Stamp it, cut it, then layer it and add it to your card using Deluxe Glue.
8. Now add two flowers to the sides of the sentiment and top it off with Mini Pearls (it’s like adding whip cream to the top of your Hot Fudge Sunday :0)!
This card is so pretty. It doesn’t have to have four layers and it doesn’t have to be a shaker card but I think it came out sweet! Yes, it can be used for Valentine’s Day but I used it with a beautiful sentiment as a thinking of you card.

We just added more products to our Sidewalk Sale and the One and Done Sale – check back daily as we add more new stuff often.
Before I sign off today I wanted to show you two items I use and are in the links below (in the menu). These are not conventional items but can help with your organization and presentation.
The first is the way I am now storing my slimline stamps/dies/embossing folders. They are just refrigerator storage container units. There is a specific size I use. click here for the direct link.
Seriously these work for your slimline stamp/die storage!!!!
Then the next thing I wanted to show you is how I stand my cards up to display and to photograph. This one is not from the refrigerator, it’s used by florists. It’s called a frog, I’m not sure why, it doesn’t look a thing like a frog but that’s what they call it. Click here to check it out.
Remember, it doesn’t have to be hard, it doesn’t have to be complicated, just fun and thoughtful. All products can be found in our Teaspoon of Fun Shoppe.
Thank you so much for your time today. It means a lot to us. If we can ever help with any of your stamping needs, please reach out, we are here to help and teach, that’s what we love to do. We love that you let us come into your home and spend a little crafty time with you! It’s so much fun sharing what is such a passion. Happy Crafting today!
Remember to share it, pin it, buy it and let us know what you think.
