Dripping Paint Technique
Hidy Ho Stampers,
November 21, 2020. Today I’m using another set from Anita Jeram’s collection and incorporating it with the Dripping Paint Technique. It came out so cute!
Oh my gosh, this card was fun on OVERLOAD!!! The drips, the striped background and the cute little Puppy!
How do you make the drips? Adding Crystal Glaze at the end makes it look WET & drippy!
#6 Brush (you may want to add the #1 and #4 )
How did we get the drips?
Take your watercolor paper and add dollops of water from your Silicone Dispenser
Add a dollop of water to the colors you desire in your watercolor pans – I used 4 colors. When they are wet, grab some with your #6 Brush and dab them in the dollops of color!
Then all you do is raise it up and let it drip down. At the end, just take your brush and connect. You can use your heat tool to speed up the drying! When it’s dry you can add Crystal Glaze to make it look WET! I told you this was fun on overload! Dripping Paint Technique!
SOOOOOOO much fun. But the fun doesn’t stop there…now the background….
And how did we make the background?
How fun is this? It reminds me of the “Fruit Strips Gum”.
Do you remember this gum? I love that there was 5 JUICY flavors!
Take a base piece of cardstock 3 3/4″ x 5″ and slather it with adhesive. I used our EZ Runner Grand.
Now take 1″ strips of SCRAP paper and start lining them up diagonally over the adhesive.
They need to hang off the edges!
After you have them all lined up, trim them down to the base layer (3 3/4″ x 5″). And that’s it!
We just needed a FUN card today. Give it a try.

I relaxed that the cute little bunnies that were at Colorado craft were from the illustrator of “ I love you this much!”
Thanks for a great card and great ideas!
