-
In photography, bokeh (Originally /?bo?k?/, /?bo?ke?/ BOH-kay — also sometimes pronounced as /?bo?k?/ BOH-k?, Japanese: [boke]) is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. Bokeh has been defined as “the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light”.does this look familiar now?! We just didn’t know what it was called. So here are my cards using this technique…Birthday Surprise Stamp Set using the NEWChalk Inks from Stampin’ Up!and here is my Garden Green version

Deb, question for you… Were you once a teacher? The way you demo techniques and explain suggest you were. Okay, another G R E A T technique. Thank you
Love this technique but looked for the sneak peek about the chalk inks and couldn’t find it. Great cards……thanks.

Hi Deb, I love you videos! One question, what kind of adhesive did you use to attach the window sheet to the card?
thank you so much Jenny. I used fast fuse! It works great. If you have any questions, let me know. deb http://www.stampladee.stampinup.net for all your shopping needs.
Love this tutorial, Deb! Thanks so much for the video. It’s so helpful. Just one note, from the definition you provided and from photography classes I’ve taken I think the photography technique is pronounced boh-kay. Like bouquet. Thanks again for this. Can’t wait to try it!
Thank you so much Britiney for your lovely response and thank you for helping me out with the pronunciation! :0) If you have any questions, please let me know. deb http://www.stampladee.stampinup.net for all your shopping needs.
I really love this thanks Deb! You have made it easy to understand the process. The only thing I am not sure of is how you attached the window sheet please? I thought you might need glue dots or something but they would show. Thank you!
Hi Janine, I actually used Fast Fuse on the back of the card. The window sheet wraps around and you need a really good adhesive for the back. If you have any questions, let me know. deb http://www.stampladee.stampinup.net for all your shopping needs.
Oh my gosh! I’m not quite sure how I got here, but I saw your blackberry bliss bokeh and fell in love. I had to track down who and how. That is *so* gorgeous! This new-to-me technique will get tried over the weekend. Thank you so much for sharing, albeit five + years ago. ?
