February 8, 2021. A cup of kindness for you today! Yes, you can use this card for Valentine’s Day but you can also send it to a friend to show your unconditional friendship! It’s got so many techniques in it…String Art…Shaker…Copics and more! Don’t shy away from these types of cards – if you try it, it won’t be so scary. They are easy and fun! YOU CAN DO IT!!!! Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Remember, it doesn’t have to be hard, it doesn’t have to be complicated, just fun and thoughtful. All products can be found in our Teaspoon of Fun Shoppe.
Stitched Nesting Rectangles Die
If you want to cut out the center of the rectangle, you will need the Stitched Nesting Rectangles.
They fit perfectly with the String Art Retangles Die.
PRILLS and Craft Spoon to scoop up Prills
I used Prills to fill the shaker card (I mixed “Hot Mama” and “Red! It’s Right”)
I love my crafting embroidery floss.
Every color of the rainbow which makes it perfect for cardmaking.

I used COPICS to color (all the links for copics are in the menu below)
For this card I used:
Dragon: YG00, YG13, YG17, G28
Cup: BG0000, BG10, BG15, BG49
Heart: R24, R37, R59
Horns and Feet: E0000. E11, E15
Eyes: B000
I also used my Black Micron Pen and White Gelly Roll Pen for the detailing on this card.
Directions:
- Run the String Art Rectangle Die first on your layer.
- Center and run the Stitched Nesting Rectangles Die through your die cutting machine to make the rectangle opening in the center. (I use the Vagabond – LINK BELOW).
- Stitch your card as I show you in the video below – Click Here to see the needles I use for these cards.
- Then add your Acetate Sheets with our Deluxe Glue.
- Add your Foam Tape to this layer (make sure all foam tape pieces are touching so your prills do not escape.
- Lay your card base down and put your PRILLS using our Craft Spoon on the card base (do not put them on the window sheet, you won’t be able to turn it over).
- Lay the String Art Layer on top of the card base.
- Add your art pieces (mine are the dragon and sentiment)
- DONE!
