Okay back to work (deb needs to focus)!  :0)  Today I'm bringing you my Mini Coffee Cup Snowman!  It's been so cold here and so snowy and with more snow to come tonight (the reason my baby girl gets to stay an extra five days)! that I decided to bring you a cute snowman project instead of showing you new stuff from the 2014 Occasions Mini Catalog.  So here we go…

And here is the video to show you step by step how to make this adorable giftable.  If you are viewing this from your email, click here to see it.

So cute isn't it?!!!!

And here is the recipe I use (Paula Deen’s Dreamy Creamy Hot Chocolate)

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
Mini Marshmallows (optional)

You will need to add:

1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

6 1/2 cups hot water

Directions

In a large saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, cocoa, vanilla and salt; mix well. Over medium heat, slowly stir in water; heat through, stirring occasionally. DO NOT BOIL. Top with marshmallows, if desired.

Tip: Chocolate can be stored in the refrigerator up to 5 days. Mix well and reheat before serving.

Almost like you planned it…..5 more days….hum. You lucked out, Miss Deb.
She is a very pretty baby and looks like she is such a happy one.
The cup is cute but I have never had cocoa like that…with condensed milk.
A must try……and the cup will make it better.
Have a great (extended) time and enjoy the snow.

Cute project…so fitting for this snow globe we’re living in! Your granddaughter is a doll! Have fun with your frozen-in-place family. Lots of that going on these days…

Looks like my comment did not go thru’ so I will try again.
I just wonder if you did not just wish this delay into being…you wanted your grandchild so much (and of course her parents). She is so cute and looks so happy.
The cocoa sounds so good, but I have never had it made with condensed milk. I will have to try it…and the cup wil make it better. Thanks……….and enjoy that extra time with your family (and do not forget her parents are there also).
