More on Stamp Camp
Hi ladies,
Rainy day again today! But that's great stamping weather. I wanted to share some more doorprizes that we had at Stamp Camp yesterday.
This was created by Susan Birbilis, one of our team members, she does a lot for our group. She stamped the tile with Stazon Ink and then filled it in with Craft Ink. While it was still wet, she used Glassy Glaze and heated it. HURRY, Glassy Glaze is on the Last Chance Accessories List! She added a plate holder, dry erase marker and eraser to complete this awesome wipeoff board.
This tile is so elegant. It' is done with one of our Decor Element Stencils, Craft Ink and Glassy Glaze (HURRY, Glassy Glaze is on the Last Chance Accessories List)! This was made by Nancy McKenney. She is a fantastic stamper and a great part of our Demo Team. LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!
Hurry, if you look at the Last Chance Lists, they are getting slimmer and slimmer…it's WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! So don't wait….put your order in NOW…go to my website http://stampladee.stampinup.net and put in your orders.
ALSO….the time is running out for the $99 Special SUPER Kit. Contact me if you'd like details! You can't beat it! You get all the new stuff at a discount!
Hope you like what I shared…enjoy your evening.
Stamp Camp Door Prizes
Good evening ladies,
What a spectacular day today. It was raining here in Ballston Spa, New York and the perfect weather for a Stamp Camp. We had great stamping projects, great friends, SUPER food and lots and lots of fun. The thing that I love the most about Stamp Camp is all the fun and laughing we do. They girls loved all the projects we do.
Here is Ruth with two of the girls finishing up at this table.
Isn't this adorable?!!! I just loved this door prize. When the demonstrators sign up to work at Stamp Camp they have to have to a few things. First they need to invite their customers to come to Stamp Camp (no problem)! Then they have to make a handstamped door prize. I look so forward to this part of Stamp Camp. These girls never stop amazing me. This was one of the cutest things I've ever seen….Ruth Baxter created a Tropical Tray ready for any party.
She had a set of these adorable treat boxes. The box was made out of the Bitty Box and Envelope Die #115967. Then she punched a strip of the Island Oasis Paper #117173 with the Eyelet Border Punch #113692 then spiraled it around into a flower (this can also be done with the Table Setting Die #116819). Then for the leaf, she cut this out of the Island Oasis Designer Series Paper #117173. SO CUTE!
On the bottom of each of the Wine Glasses (plastic), she put the felt flowers made from the Circles #2 Die #114526. At my last Demonstrator's Meeting, I taught the girls how to make these. They are so much fun and so easy. Instead of wine charms (the norm) she used wine flowers!
And if that wasn't enough, to finish off the door prize, she made coasters! She made these out of the Scallop Circle Die #113468. She again used the Island Oasis Designer Series Paper #117173. She also used the new stamp set from the Summer Mini #120048 Clear Mount or #116968 Wood Mount – Favorite Thoughts. She used a different saying on each coaster. What a great conversation piece added to the entire set.
I just loved this project. Stay tuned tomorrow for more projects from Stamp Camp.
We also had a huge number of people sign up as demo's. You can't beat the price. The Mini starter kit is filled with NEW product that will appear in the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog. And you can get the rest of the new colors and products for 30% off with your first order after signing up. Contact me if you are interested. It's a deal you DON'T want to pass over!
Enjoy your evening and thank you for checking on me!

More about our colors
Good morning ladies,
I want to tell you that we also have FIVE new "In Colors" coming. I love the names and can't wait to see what they look like.
Blushing Bride
Concord Crush
Peach Parfait
Pear Pizzaz
Poppy Parade
I'm thinking that Blushing Bride is a whitish pink; the Concord Crush is a PURPLE; the Peach Parfait is something like Blush Blossom (we need a flesh color); Pear Pizzaz might be a greenish color; and I'm just not sure about the Poppy one…that's what my kids called my father-in-law…so that one I'm just not sure – maybe black like poppy seeds?? I can't wait…this is like Christmas! and the excitement begins. Email me with what YOU think the colors will be and we'll see who is the closest. FUN FUN!
Okay a few announcements and then more samples….
Remember my Challenge on March 18th? How many items are used from the Occasions Mini Catalog on this card? Well we had 58 submissions, how fun is that? And the winner is….DRUM ROLL PLEASE…
MAGGIE DOYLE!
Congratulations Maggie. So here is what she came up with…
Picture This Stamp Set
Fine Flourish Stamp set
Butterfly Accent Stamp Set
Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch
Sending Love Brads – Chocolate Chip
Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper
Eggcellent Eggs Kit
annnnd one thing none of the others came up with was the CLEAR BLOCKS!!! How smart is that! Of course the clear blocks were used!
A very common mistake on a lot of the entries was the Extra Large Bird Punch(petals behind the flower)…that was not used on Amy's card. It was the Five Petal Punch but can't be counted because it was not in the mini catalog. Another popular choice was the Beautiful Wings Embosslet but that was NOT used. It was the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Dies on page 198 of the big catalog for the butterfly.
Oh my gosh that was fun!!! Took me longer than I thought to go through all of them so thank you for your patience! :0) Maggie will receive the Fresh Cuts Stamp Set! YEAH again Maggie and thank you to all who entered.
Okay and the next winner is……
For my MARCH ONLINE Order drawing….the winner is….
LYNETTE BUCCI
YEAH Lynette! You are the winner of the Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware ! WOW!!! Congratulations.
Remember at the end of the month, I put all names in a hat (well a basket) for all online orders for that month. Each month I pull a name and they are the winner of the Online Orders!
Okay so get ordering for the month of April because you will REEEEEALLY want what I have as a prize this month! YEE Ha….
Here is another FREE Door Prize from the Spring Stamp Camp. I wish this picture came out a little clearer. It is a beautiful wooden tray with a Decor Element on the bottom. Inside the tray it was FILLED with handstamped items. It was GORGEOUS!
Here was a gorgeous travel mug decorated with our Tea Party Designer Series Paper and with this gift was a note pad and matching pen! The gal that won this was SUPER excited!
Thank you ladies for hanging in there…chat tomorrow.

CLEAR MOUNTED STAMPS
So what is your take on our new Clear Mount Stamps? Stampin' Up! has given you a choice. The choice is Wood Mount or Clear Mount. My new favorites are the clear mount. I have a lot of unmounted stamps (I get so many free ones from Stampin' Up!) I don't always have time to mount them which has turned out to be a great thing. I'm going to show you how to take your unmounted WOOD MOUNT stamps and turn them into CLEAR MOUNT stamps. It's so much fun and so fast.
okay so the first thing you want to do is pop out your rubber image and remove the sticker from the sticker sheet.
Next you will put the sticky side up on the sticker and the foam down. Line up the image and lay your stamp on the sticker sheet.
Turn over your piece and trim the clear sticker off. (Trim around it like you used to do when we had to cut stamps out)!
Do this to all your pieces before you go to the next step.
Next you are going to need your Tombow "Green Glue". Optionally you can use a foam brush but don't absolutely need it. See the next picture for details.
Next you are going to spread the glue evenly over the entire stamp. After you've done that for all the pieces, set them aside for at least 24 hours. After that, the glue will be sticky but will not stick permanently! It works perfect….and that's my tip for today!
Now on to more pictures from Stamp Camp
Here's our welcoming committee!!! Hi Sue and Marlene!
Here are two more FREE doorprizes! Aren't they just beautiful!!! What an awesome job the girls did…remember every stamp camp atendee got to take home a doorprize!
And last show and tell for today is this beautiful card made by Pat Dover. She attended one of my classes on flowers and she adapted it to this birthday card for her friend Linda. She used the round punch and STICKY PAGES!!!! It's a cool technique.
Enjoy your day ladies, I'm not sure where you are in the country today but on the 7th of April, 2010, it's going to 80 degrees here in NEW YORK in APRIL! How cool is that (I mean how HOT is that)! Enjoy.

It is from the Elegant Trio collection ($9.95 118262 – for a set of 3 stencils). You sponge on craft ink, sprinkle with #100477 Glassy Glaze Enamel Powder, then bake in your oven and embellish as you wish. These are beautiful gifts.
Here was another one of the FREE giveaways. It's an Easter Basket FILLED with handstamped gifts. Many of the embellishments came from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit found on page 23 of the Occasions Mini Catalog. The stamper that recieved this gift could not believe it was all for her! She was so excited.

Continuing Education Classes
I'm in my third session of Continuing Education classes this week. We've had a great turnout and I've met a lot of new people. If you want to sign up, make sure you contact the school district (Scotia, Burnt Hills or Saratoga) to enroll. If your name is not on their list, I won't have a folder filled with materials for you to work on, so make sure you contact them ASAP. You do NOT have to reside in that school district in order to attend. If you need any more information on how to register, please email me and I can help you out.
This is the designer purse we will be making this week in Continuing Education Class. I will be using the 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper that is found on page 33 in our Occasions Mini Catalog. Check back tomorrow to see another one. You will also be making several cards to match your purse. What a stinken cute gift to give! You would be the BOMB if you gave this to any of your friends (that would be a good thing)! :0) Check back tomorrow.
Here is another project we did at our "Modified Jammie Party" on March 6th. I will be showing you these throughout the week. We did 10 projects that day so make sure you keep checking back to see what they were. This portolio is done with the Modern Label Folders found in the big catalog on page 169. They loved it.
ULTIMATE STAMPING/SCRAPBOOKING KIT Ladies, the ultimate stamping/scrapbooking kit is only going to be on sale for a little while longer. If you are interested in purchasing this kit (a kit that is worth almost $400) for only $169, contact me asap. The sale is over at the end of March. You would be able to attend my monthly stamping get togethers and be a part of a private Yahoo Group that is dedicated to stamping! So email me and let me know you are interested.
Enjoy your day and please let me know if you have any questions. Take care.
