Plane and Simple

Hi Stampers,

I'm loving all the pieces in this new stamp set "Plane & Simple".  Here's a card I came up with:

Stamps:  Plane and Simple (#121903 wood mount or #121964 clear mount) found in the Occasions Mini on page 40.

Cardstock:  Early Espresso; Crumb Cake and Love Letter Designer Series Paper #117162 (page 173)

 Ink:  Early Espresso

Accessories:  Big Shot; Texture Plate Kit #4 (along with the proprer pads); Cogs Punch, Petal Cone Punch (for the banner); Color Spritzer Tool; Bone Folder

I curled the banner with the bone folder and secured it at the curl.

Hope you enjoyed my post.  Remember if you'd like to order any of these products or join my team, hop on over to my website http://stampladee.stampinup.net and shop or join!

Simply Adorned

Hi Stampers,

It is freeeeeezing here in New York, the wind is whipping and the snow is sideways!  Yikes…but inside the fire is going, I've got a cup of hot chocolate and I've been stamping away!!!  I love these days!

Have you seen our Simply Adorned line of jewelry?  They are beautiful.  I've held two classes already and I'm working on class #3.  We do different inserts in each class.  At my second class, I got out the samples from my first class but I was missing my favorite insert.  I looked all over…but did not find him that night…it was my favorite one…the snowman!  He was so stinken cute.  I know I could make another but it just wasn't the same.  I gave up and went to bed and figured I'd make one the next day….

So I got up the next day and got out the box that I keep the inserts in and OH MY GOSH….I found him…he was smoooooshed up against the top of the box…

see how he is smashed up against the top????

See….isn't he so stinken cute??!!!!   This is the first class I did.  I had them purchase the 1 1/4 Simply Adorned Charm and the 24" necklace then the class was free.  They did 12 inserts.

And here are three of the 10 inserts we did at the second class.  Aren't they so stinken cute!!!!  I love making these…The beveled glass makes them look so gorgeous!

Let me know if you'd like to take this class, everyone loves them.  They make great gifts.

Hope you enjoyed my post…see you tomorrow.

The Academy Awards of Demo Get Togethers

Hi Stampers,

Today was another wonderful Demonstrator Get Together and what a great way to start this get together….I was greeted when I first got there by one of the gals and she gave me a gift…She made this!!

It's a mug wrap that she covered with our material.  Isn't this so cute.

Besides all the great chocolate in there, there was something that was totally awesome.  It's McGillycuddy's Natural Honey & Cream Milk Soap.  This is so special to me!  Thank you Ruth!

Okay today was OSCAR Day.  Our meeting used to fall on the day of the Oscars so we always incorporated that into our theme.  Since we had to change the Sunday that our meetings fell on, I still kept this theme (just not on the day).  Okay so here is the "Red Carpet"….

and here are our table decorations!!!

Last Month, I gave the demonstrators a challenge.  They received TWO pink pieces from the New Petal Cone die.  They were to decorate it as they wanted.  We would then vote on the one we loved the best.  We had 8 entries.

I don't know if you can see this but she died the ribbon with our folder.  That IS ribbon.

This one was turned into a box.  How clever!

Look at all the detail on this one.  She used the LetterPress die, punches galore, look how she braided the handle and the trinkets on the heart!  OMG!  Simply Spectacular!

Lots of adorable things on this one!!!  I love stuff.

I'm not sure if you can see it in the picture but this gal actually sewed hers.  There is some adorable stitching on this.

This one to me is very romantic!  Nice job.

Stamping and ribbon, and tinkets and just BEAUTIFUL!

And now for the winner…like I said, everyone voted on their favorite.  I don't know who did any of them, it's all anonymous except the winner, as she gets the $25 Gift Certificate for her winning entry…so the winner is……

Isn't this adorable???!!!!  She took the pink holder and added to it to make this ADORABLE VASE!!  She also used the new Blossom Petals punch and Build a Blossom stamp set (found on page 12 of the Occasions Mini Catalog) to make the flowers and leaves.  It's was just so stinken cute!  CONGRATULATIONS JAMIE!!!!

Oh and then the food!!  We had two tables full of food!  mmmmm  There is always good treats – and ALL healthy of course :P!

Here is one of my favorites…I'm not sure what is in it but I figured out there was cream cheese and chocolate chips…the originator of this dish was Barb Stomeroski…she didn't make it this month but she did share the receipe and someone else recreated it, we CASE stamping projects … why not CASE food too…mmmmmmm

Then let the make and takes begin…..

Here they are at the Big Shot station…hi Beth, Crhis and Linda!

And here we have one of the make and takes I did…I had the girls make two of the same card…they got to keep one and they gave one back to me.  My church has a Prayer Shawl that they give to people who request them…I will donate these cards to the church to put in the bags for the recipient…They came out great.  We will be donating 45 of them.

Here is the box we did.  The directions for this are on my New York Inketts Website for demonstrators.

This was a card that was inspired by BJ Peters.  She gave me this card at Leadership.  Isn't it so cute.  I had to do a triple decker one (vanilla, chocolate and strawberry)!  The top scoop pulls out to display your message on the inside!

Look how adorable this one is.  We used a lot of the Sale-a-Bration embellishments.  I can't wait for SPRING!!!!

We used the Blossom Petals punch and Build a Blossom stamp set (found on page 12 of the Occasions Mini Catalog) for this card.

And we used that same stamp and punch for this card but we used different pieces.

We also did a swap and came home with 23 MORE cards (if you love to stamp, join us, we go home with so much stuff).  Phew, what a great day!  If you'd like to be part of this fantastic team, contact me, I'd love to have you join us once a month at these get togethers.  Take care and I hope you stop by tomorrow.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Sew Cute…

Hi Stampers,

I've been playing with our new Designer Fabric today.  We did a pin as one of our make and takes at Leadership last week and I decided to make a few more.  Then I started playing and came up with another one.  Here is what I have for you tonight.

Here are the two pins.  The Springtime Vintage Designer Fabric was cut with the new Fun Flowers Bigz Die and the Big Shot.  I just LOVE that die…..LOVE IT !!!!  The dies cut through our material like it was butter (Paula Dean would go nuts over this die) and you can cut up to 5 or 6 layers at a time depending on the weight of the material.

This is the one we made at leadership.  It is filled with Stampin' Up! product…ribbon, paper daisies, material, beveled windowpanes, Designer Paper, shimmer paint, trinket key and more!  I cant stand it…it sooooo stinken cute.

Here's a closeup of the beveled windowpane.  It has an image from the Clearly For You stamp set under it.  See how the seambinding wraps through it.  GORGEOUS!

And here is one with our buttons in the middle.

So what do you think???  Leave me a note!  Hope you have a great night, I'll chat with you tomorrow.

Holiday Album

Hello Stampers,

On Thursday night we had eleven ladies here complete with their laptops and my new TV screen set up so they could watch me while we created together a complete Digital Scrapbook using the program MY DIGITAL STUDIO from Stampin' Up!   It was amazing.  We had a few computers that were a little slower than others but everyone was able to put their books together ready to go home, put a few final touches on them and have them printed out.  Here are some of the pages we did (this is only half of the book):

This was my book, with my pictures.  They completed the layout with their pictures.  Each page we did had tips and techniques that we learned from putting in shadows and shading to resizing and a whole lot more.

Here they learned how to change a picture from its normal color to Sepia.

I will be holding consistent classes for My Digital Studio.  Contact me at stampladee@aol if you'd like to take the classes.  I'm so excited about 2011, I have so many new and exciting events coming up.

Hope you enjoyed my post.

Counting down to Christmas

Hi Stampers,

It's been such a crazy couple of days… no weeks… no months here in the Valder Household…classes, clubs, camps and all that good stamping stuff; lots of work being done on our house.  This past week my kitchen has been torn apart as we put new granite countertops in (it was easy getting into the drawers - there were no countertops so we just reached in and got what we needed, but it was hard making a sandwich!)  Anyway there were men all over here today putting the first part of them in.  Now there is no stove, and no sink…tell me it's going to be all worth it.   We made a quick trip to South Dakota from New York (is there such a thing – quick trip to South Dakota) to see my son's new house…that was so much fun but exhausting….anyway, what I'm getting at is WE ARE ALL CRAZY this time of the year so we need simple.  So here is my latest find and share with you…

Another fast card…

This card was made with a single stamp – Christmas Postcard (#121428) found in the Holiday Mini on page 41.  The decorative paper is one that I've featured on my blog LOTS AND LOTS…it's called Jolly Holiday and can be found in the Big Catalog.  Do you like the bow?  It's a FORK BOW – yep I said fork bow, it's made using a fork.  Isn't it so cute.  This was one of the cards on display at my October demo meeting.  ONE STAMP!!!!    Simple and fast!

Take care and thank you for stopping by!

Contempo Christmas

Hi stampers,

It's not too late to order your supplies for Holiday Cards and it's not too late to have your "honey" contact me to place an order for you for your Christmas surprise.  Make sure they get those orders to me ASAP!!!  Here is a very simple card you can do for the holidays.  It's done with one of our BUNDLES that are still on sale until the 16th of this month.  Isn't it adorable?

Just Whisper White Cardstock and Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon along with some Cherry Cobbler Cardstock.  Use your Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and WAH LAH, you are done!

Here is the card we did in Club in November using the same set.  Isn't it striking.  Don't you just love the way the ribbon is done.  LOVE IT!!! and hope you do too.

Remember, the bundles are still for sale and not too late to get them in time for Christmas.  Contact me if you are interested OR shop online 24/7 at my store if you are interested in placing an order and have it sent directly to your home.

Enjoy your evening.

Powerful Card for the holidays!

Hi stampers,

I've got a very easy but powerful card for you.

Step one is to stamp your image with Basic Black ink, then…

Mask off a section of your card and sponge with Daffodil Delight classic ink.

this is how it should look

Next move your mask to the right of the Daffodil Delight line and sponge with Night of Navy classick ink.

Now move your mask to the left of the Daffodil Delight line and sponge again with Night of Navy classic ink.

To finish your card, ink up just the star on a piece of scrap Whisper White cardstock with Daffodil Delight classic ink and cut it out.  I popped it up with a Dimensional, used two-way glue and a little dazzling diamonds on it.  Add your Night of Navy Satin ribbon and you are done.

And don't forget our two week special.  Today was the start of our special and it has been a SUPER day!

Contact me if you are interested in joining my team!  We are the best!

And last but not least, I posted this picture a last week

and asked if you'd leave me a comment.  I was so excited…I got 12 comments!  YIPPPEEEE!!!!  I put all the names in a hat and drew a winner.  And the winnnnnnnnnnner is……

Here is what the card looks like, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE TO WATCH MY VIDEO!

Let me know if you have any questions.  Please leave me a comment here on my blog telling me what you think about the card and I will enter your name into a drawing for a brand new stamp set!

Enjoy your day.

Olde Bryan Inn

Hi Stampers,

What a fun night we had at the Olde Bryan Inn in Saratoga Springs, New York.  Every year in November, I take the girls out for a night of food, fun and laughter.  These are some of my direct downline (girls that signed up to be demonstrators directly under me as a Stampin' Up Demonstrator).  Only half of my directs could make it, but those that came did have a great time.

one of our swap cards!

We did our card swap, collected cards for Ronald McDonald and canned goods for the food pantry.  I am so blessed to have a group that is so giving.  THANK YOU GIRLS!!!!

What a blast!!!!
