Plane and Simple
Hi Stampers,
I'm loving all the pieces in this new stamp set "Plane & Simple". Here's a card I came up with:
Stamps: Plane and Simple (#121903 wood mount or #121964 clear mount) found in the Occasions Mini on page 40.
Cardstock: Early Espresso; Crumb Cake and Love Letter Designer Series Paper #117162 (page 173)
Ink: Early Espresso
Accessories: Big Shot; Texture Plate Kit #4 (along with the proprer pads); Cogs Punch, Petal Cone Punch (for the banner); Color Spritzer Tool; Bone Folder
I curled the banner with the bone folder and secured it at the curl.

More Valentine…
Hi Stampers,
I've got a few more Valentine ideas for you.
This is a card I got from a very good friend Jan Burnett. It uses our new Tulips folder, the Vintage Designer Series Paper, our new 3" circle die and the singleBe My Valentine Stamp found on page 43 of our Occasion Mini Catalog. Just beautiful.
This is a swap card I received at my January Team Meeting from Christopher Famolaro.
Look at the cool opening. He did such an awesome job!
Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Did you finish your cards yet?
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Hi stampers,
Well it's not stopped snowing since yesterday and it's going to snow into tomorrow!!! I LOVE IT! Do you know how much stamping you can get done when it snows???? I had so much fun today just stamping away in my jammies! I knew no one was going to come to the house so I just kept stamping. Here is one of my creations, I have a few thank you's to get out and this is what I came up with…
Stamp Set: Clearly for You
Ink: Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Crumb Cake; First Edition Designer Series Paper; Basic Black
Big Shot Folders: Framed Tulips; Vintage Wallpaper
Accessories: Sponges; Full Heart Punch; Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit; 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon Basic Black; Sticky Strip; Mini Glue Dots (aka – snot dots)
I did a fork bow to finish it off. It was fast and fun! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!
Sew Cute…
Hi Stampers,
I've been playing with our new Designer Fabric today. We did a pin as one of our make and takes at Leadership last week and I decided to make a few more. Then I started playing and came up with another one. Here is what I have for you tonight.
Here are the two pins. The Springtime Vintage Designer Fabric was cut with the new Fun Flowers Bigz Die and the Big Shot. I just LOVE that die…..LOVE IT !!!! The dies cut through our material like it was butter (Paula Dean would go nuts over this die) and you can cut up to 5 or 6 layers at a time depending on the weight of the material.
This is the one we made at leadership. It is filled with Stampin' Up! product…ribbon, paper daisies, material, beveled windowpanes, Designer Paper, shimmer paint, trinket key and more! I cant stand it…it sooooo stinken cute.
Here's a closeup of the beveled windowpane. It has an image from the Clearly For You stamp set under it. See how the seambinding wraps through it. GORGEOUS!
And here is one with our buttons in the middle.
So what do you think??? Leave me a note! Hope you have a great night, I'll chat with you tomorrow.
2011 Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference
Hi stampers,
Well Kevin and I just got back from my Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN. What a hoot that was. We had more fun and laughed more at this event than any other. I learned so much. The classes and events at this conference were outstanding!!! I can't wait to share it with all of you. I will be showcasing a lot of it at my demonstrator meeting on Sunday–training for my downline. I will be sharing a lot of it with my clubs, classes and workshops in the coming months also. Okay here are some pictures….
Here is Kevin and Tom. This is ONE of the lobbies in the Gaylord Opreyland Hotel. When we got there, we met up with some really good friends from Minnesota (Patsy and Tom Waggoner). We toured the hotel…it took hours to do that and I don't think we saw it all. What a beautiful place.
I did three different swap cards. Here is one of them. Look on my Facebook page for the details.
Here is another one (again the details are on my facebook page). I love these two dies for the Big Shot.
and here is my third one.
This was my favorite display. Remember my earlier post about SCHERENSCHNITTE? It truly has made a comeback. Look how they cut out the hat and put in our new Designer Series Paper. BEAUTIFUL and they even added some of our Simply Adorned Charms. It truly was my favorite display, I just couldn't stop staring at it. Look at the background…can you guess what paper that is?
And how cute is this? Look at the new Button Button stamp set and isn't the little Pompom trim just adorable!!!
Okay, I'll post more Leadership pictures tomorrow. I'm glad I'm back and make sure you check out my facebook page! If you'd like to add any of these items to your collection, contact me at stampladee@aol.com and we can put an order in for you!
Gift Exchange
Hi Stampers,
I promised to show you more gifts and swaps from my Demonstrator Holiday Get Together. Every year we do a gift exchange by doing an auction. Everyone gets a bag of M & M's. Each color M & M gets a point value. You add up your M & M's and that is how much you have to spend in the auction. It's sooooo much fun. The gifts are breathtaking. Here are a few more…
You all know how much I LOVE the Decor Elements catalog. These blocks are found in that catalog. This gal used Designer Series Paper and the Big Shot letters to complete her project. Aren't they beautiful!
And here is the gift I received. Amy King and her husband created this gorgeous candle. Again this saying is from the Decor Elements book. They applied them to a beautiful Vanilla Candle. Great job.
And here is a holiday frame. It's even more beautiful in person.
Oh my gosh…how fun is this?! This tree is made with our Jolly Holiday Designer Series paper. Cut strips and attach them to a styrofoam cylinder with pins.
And just look at this postit notebook. This picture does not do the gift justice but take my word, they were wonderful.
So don't you wish you were there???!!! It was so much fun. I hope you enjoyed my post, I'll connect with you tomorrow.

And another winner…
Good afternoon stampers,
My pick of the day is another winner from my demo meeting. I had the pleasure of partnering up with Linda Bennett for our Make and Take this month. Linda designed this BEAUTIFUL card as the make and take that she and I brought to the meeting for my team to do. Isn't it gorgeous?!
At each meeting we do 5 to 6 make and takes. Five to six different teams of two desgin, cut and prepare for the rest of us to do. We all take turns doing this. It's so much fun. Then after we've done all our make and takes for the day, we vote on the one we like the very best. It's always so hard because they are all good but one has to be the winner and this month, this is the one the stampers liked the best. What an honor it was to work with Linda, I've showcased her work before so you know what I'm talking about. There is a lot of new product in this card. Here are just some of the ingredients:
Stamp Sets: Winter Post #111780 (page 7 of the big catalog) and Bells and Boughs #120831 wood mount or #121142 clear mount (page 19 of the Holiday Mini Catalog – this one is part of one of the Holiday Bundles also).
Other supplies used on this card are the new Always Artichoke Seam Binding Ribbon #121000 on page 21 of the Holiday Mini; Northern Frost Decorative Strip #120901 page 38 of the Holiday Mini; Northern Flurry textured Embossing Folder # 120902 found on page 26 of the Holiday Mini Catalog. Add some of our new Pearls along with Two Way Glue and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and you have the makings of this award winning card! Yes she won a prize!!!!
If you do not have a demonstrator or you are one of my customers and would like to purchase any of these products, please go to my website and click on the SHOP NOW BUTTON.
That's it for today, I hope you liked my pick of the day! Enjoy your evening.
